Evelyn's words were reassuring, and Emma felt much better. After all, Evelyn was Mr. Leopold's woman. How could she not outmaneuver Aurelia?

Aurelia gave a smirk. When she had demoted Emma, Evelyn hadn't pleaded with the big boss.
