Mira wrapped her chubby little fingers around Nova's hand and giggled, "Gosh, what are you babbling about? I can't understand a word!" William shook his head and chuckled. "That's baby talk. We all used to speak it before we grew up and learned real words. Then we just forget all about the baby talk." "What?" Mira smacked her forehead in astonishment. "Why do we have to forget baby talk? Now we can't even chat with the little tots." Nina mused, "Baby talk must be the most mysterious and ancient language of humankind, filled with all sorts of secrets. That's probably why God makes us forget it." Beverley wore a look of intrigue. "Do you guys know why kids forget everything from their baby years as they grow up?" The children looked at her, puzzled. "Why?" "Because babies can remember their past lives and even see souls. That's why their memories have to be wiped clean," Beverley explained with a mystic flair, being a seasoned researcher in the esoteric arts.

Mira shivered and hugged herself. "That's way too spooky. I don't want to see any ghosts!" Beverley pinched her rosy cheek playfully. "You can't see them anymore, sweetie. Only tiny babes like Nova might catch a glimpse." As she spoke, Nova turned her head towards an empty space, eyes wide as if she saw something.

Everyone's gaze followed, but there was nothing there, just thin air.

Mira, always the faint-hearted, clutched her eyes and screamed. "Ghosts... ghosts... there must be a ghost. Nova must have seen one." Her scream startled even Beverley.

"Mira, don't just scream like that, you're scaring everyone. There's no way ghosts would be out in broad daylight. They're terrified of the sun." Nova turned his little head towards Skyler, cooing and babbling as if she was trying to say something.

Skyler just shrugged helplessly.

"Nova, are you trying to talk to me? What do you want to say, buddy?" Despite his array of PhDs and master's degrees, baby talk was beyond him.

Nova looked back and forth between the empty air and Skyler.

"Goo goo ga ga..." Everyone scratched their heads, bewildered.

"I think Nova has seen something?" William suggested.

"It seems to have something to do with Uncle Skyler," Kane nodded. But they were all facing away from that direction, only Nova was looking right at it.

Mira threw up her hands in resignation. "There's nothing there. It has to be a spirit." Nina blinked curiously. "Could there be a ghost following Uncle Skyler?" Just then, Lisa chimed in, "I thought I saw a shadow flicker by over there. I assumed my eyes were playing tricks on me." Aurelia scanned the area thoroughly. "Could someone have passed by?" "If it was a person, they couldn't have just disappeared," Beverley reasoned.

"Maybe they hid behind a tree." Aurelia immediately summoned the guards to search the area.

The guards checked every nook and cranny but found nothing.

"It must be a ghost, Aunt Aurelia. I'm scared. There's a ghost in the resort," Mira clung to Aurelia.

Aurelia stroked her hair with a gentle smile. "It could have been a stray cat that darted by and then slipped into a hole. Don’t worry, sweetheart. Your dad, Uncle Leopold, and Uncle Arnold are coming over to celebrate Christmas with us. And with all these bodyguards around, no ghost would dare cnear." Skyler scratched his head. "Nova's trying to talk to me. If there is a ghost, it must be here for me. But I'm not afraid of ghosts. In fact, I'd love to see one, just to know what they look like. Do they have no feet?"
