“Did you have a nightmare?” Tyler asked.

“I'm so scared,” Olivia replied, her voice trembling.

She pulled her legs up, seeking comfort in Tyler's embrace. She wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, her face hidden against him, looking for safety like a small child.

Tyler held her close, his face pressed against her shoulder, soothing her by strolding her tangled hair. “Don’t worry, our baby is doing just fine, cozy in your belly. It's not going anywhere,” he reassured her softly.
