The Alpha's Special Mate
Chapter 7

Skylar's POV

After finding out that Jace is my second chance mate I freak out and run out of his office afraid that he's going to reject me as well, I run to the only place I like to go to be alone. When I get tot the clearing that's only a mile behind the pack house I stand there in shock and look up at the night sky and cry. I knew Jace had followed me and I didn't really care I just hugged myself and stood there sniffling from the tears when I hear him slowly approaching me as he says.

“Darling why did you run away from me?” I heard him ask slowly and gently trying to not scare me into running away again

“Because I know what you were going to do I knew that you were going to reject me just like he did because who could ever want someone like me?” I said insecurely as I started crying again

“I would never ever reject you love, you are the most beautiful, sexy, confident, and perfect person I know and I am extremely grateful that you are my mate “cause I wouldn't want anyone else to be my mate but you, no one could or would ever measure up to you your perfect.” He said tilting my face up to look into his so that I could see that he was telling me the truth and then he said something that showed me just how true his words were

“I, Jace Miller, accept you Skylar Rose as my mate and future Luna of the Night Shade Pack.” Jace said lovingly and nervously probably not knowing what I would say or how I was going to react.

As I stood there staring at him in bewilderment I hugged him and whispered into his shoulder the one thing I knew would make him extremely happy “I, Skylar Rose, accept you Jace Miller as my mate and Alpha.” As I felt his hands slowly move up my body from my waist making sparks fly from everywhere he touched me until he had a hand cupping my cheek and the other one tangled in my blood red hair. Then the next thing I knew he was kissing me softly and then I kissed him back happily deepening the kiss as he pulled me to him even more. When he pulled away he put his forehead against mine we were panting for air admiring each others perfect facial features before we walked back to the pack house hand in hand.

When we got back he lead me back to his office and sat me on his lap in his chair so I had my back resting against his chest and he was hugging my waist with his face burried in the crook of my neck and breathing in my scent in like I was going to somehow vanish at any moment. I could feel him relaxing a bit before he tensed up before asking me a question.

“So how do you feel about us being mates” Jace asked me hesitantly which had me on edge thinking that something bad was going to happen

I told him that I was very happy that we were mates and how I was grateful to have him in my life which made me blush like a tomato. When I felt him tense up more I turned my body so I was sitting sideways on his lap with my head in his shoulder so I could breath in his scent which relaxed me before I asked him what was wrong knowing he had something he had to tell me and I knew whatever it was, was probably going to upset me which was making him nervous and tense.

“Uhhhh....I have something I need to tell you hun” he says nervously looking at the ground which is starting to make me nervous

“Okaii what is it baby I can handle whatever you have to tell me.” I say to him while I put my hand to his cheek to hopefully make him relax a little bit, but little did I know that what he had to tell me would be the last thing I wanted to ever hear EVER.

“Alright now darling please don't get mad at me but we got a call about going and helping train a pack who had been having increased rogue attacks.” he says to me still looking at the ground

I'm confused by what he says until I demand him to tell me what pack it is that we have to go and help and when he says that it's the Silver Moon Pack my old pack my heart drops into my stomach. I get up off his lap and pace the room pissed off and before I can even think and control what I'm doing I growl and punch a hole into the wall across from his deck which startles him and he looks up at me pulling my hand out of the wall I don't even feel the pain of my hand because I'm so blinded by anger. The next thing I know Jace isn't sitting in his chair anymore instead he's hugging me to him and as I stand there with my face in his chest I breath in his amazing scent and begin to calm down. When I calm down fully he guides me to the couch that he has in his office and he takes my injured hand and examines it and tells me that nothing is broken thankfully and that all the little scratches will be healed in a day or two.

When I finally regain my composure I ask him when they want us there and he tells me that we have to be there on Monday which gives us the weekend to get ready which gives me time to calm down some. As we sat there cuddling Jace finally takes a deep breath before he starts talking.

“You know you don't have to come with us if you don't feel that comfortable with going there.” he says to me

“I know but I am the best fighter in the pack so I have to go no matter how I feel about them it's my duty as a warrior and as the future Luna, plus you're my mate where ever you go I go.” I say back to him which makes him very happy to hear me say that I'm going with him. After we cuddle for a little while longer we go down to the kitchen and have some dinner and then watch The Cabin In The Woods, when our movie ends I let out a very big yawn and get up to head to bed and Jace gets up takes my hand and we start heading up the stairs. Once we get to my room Jace pins me to the door with his hand on either side of my head trapping me between the door and his muscular body.

As I'm looking up at him my heart starts to race and my breathing becomes labored like I just finished running a marathon and the next thing I know his eyes start to darken with lust and he crashes his lips into mine and our lips mold together in sync. When he licks my bottom lip 1 grant his tongue entrance to my mouth and he dominates the kiss deepening it even further while pressing his body against mine pressing me even more into the door as his hands start to roam around my body and finally landing at my waist gripping it hard which makes me moan with desire as I do that he lets out a small grow! of approval. When he gripped my waist I slowly moved my hand up his rippled arms and around his neck entangling my hands in his wavy black hair bringing him even closer to me if that was even possible

We finally pull apart with black lust filled eyes and panting for breath when I finally say goodnight to him and try to go into my room. He stops me from opening the door and looks at me and gives me light pecks before grabbing my hands. He slightly tightens his grip on my hands and pulls me from my door and to the room at the end of the hall. We enter the room and he shuts the door behind us, as I look around I see that the walls are white with black dressers and a king size bed in the middle of the room with black covers.

“Wow it's huge and I love the white and black theme you got going on” I say

“Thank you and don't worry we won't be doing anything but sleeping, I won't force you to do anything you don't want to do.” Jace tells me while hugging me from behind giving me love kisses on my neck making a small moan escape from my lips.

“Thank you I appreciate it, I need to go and get something from my room I'll be right back I promise.” I say kissing him on the cheek. Before he could protest I was already heading out the door and down the hall to my room to take the quickest shower I have ever done and I go into my closet. Once I get into my closet I look through my clothes and find some lace underwear to put on under my pajama booty shorts and I put on the matching bra and tank top before brushing my hair and heading back to Jace's room. When I get back to his room I walk in and see him coming out of his closet with no shirt on and just some grey sweat pants that are hanging very low as he dries his wet hair with the towel he's holding. I let out a small growl of approval and he snap his head up looking at me with lust, happiness, and approval at what I'm wearing, I walk over to the bed and climb in under the covers with him and as soon as I lay down he wraps his arms around my waist and pull me into his bare chest and whispers goodnight into my ear before we both fall into a deep peaceful sleep.
