Liam's P.O.V

Ever since I started dating Kathy, I feel like my life has a new meaning.

I get to see her beautiful face everyday. Not only that, the fact that she's all mine makes me feel complete.

We were in my living room watching TV. I was thinking about how happy I finally was until her lovely voice distracted me.

“Liam, please can i use your bathroom?"

"Sure"

I got up and led the way into the guest bathroom. She entered and locked the door.

I stayed there because my house is big and she doesn't really know her way around yet. She might get lost.

I heard the awkward noise of her peeing... Could this get any weirder?

"I'm done you can come in now" she said

"Okay baby"

She unlocked the door and i entered. As she was bending down to flush the toilet her shirt rose up a little. that's when I saw a huge injury.

It looked like a cut. It was deep and red as fuck. My wolf, Steven growled I'm anger at the sight. Who could have done this? She couldn't have gotten this from an accident

"Kathy, where the hell did you get that bruise?" I growled

All I could see was red. I want to know who the hell did this to her

She covered her shirt quickly. Its too late for that Kit Kat. I've already seen it

"I- 1 -1- fell" She stammered

I tried to control my breathing. She's making it all worse by lying.

"You can't get a bruise like that from falling"

"Its none of your business" she snapped

"it is my business" I said "you're my mate. You're my responsibility”

It all made sense now. She would always wear things to cover her body. Even when its like a hundred degrees.

Someone was abusing her

"Baby, tell me... Please”

She pushed past me and ran out. I followed her downstairs but she had already left.. She was too fast

Kathy's P.O.V

I ran out of Liam's house with tears in my eyes at inhumane speed not caring who saw me. When I got home, I went straight to my bedroom to lay down and cry.

After a few minutes a thought came into my mind but i hadn't done it in a long time.

I opened my drawer and took out my razor blade. I rolled my sleeve up, there were a bunch of scars from previous self harm.

I took a deep breath before I pierced the razor to my skin. I saw blood. It felt so good to feel pain and see blood at the same time

I cried and laughed simultaneously. Its crazy yeah but it felt great.

Weird as it may seem but i feel a lot better. Its all his fault. I don't know why but I blame Liam for this. Why couldn't he just mind his business.

This is the only thing that can take my pain away

"Kathy!" My dad called from downstairs

I rushed out of my room and went straight down the stairs.

"Yes sir"

He slapped me. I was in shock. What have I done?

"Make me dinner bitch" he growled

I nodded with tears in my eyes

"Yes sir"

Immediately I set to work

After I was done with everything. I came upstairs and got ready for bed. As I was about to lie down a voice stopped me

"Kitty is that you?"

I turned around. Of course, you can guess who it was

"What do you want?" I mumbled

He came closer and held me by my waist so We were facing each other

"I'm sorry for prying into your business but its my business now too. I have to protect you. Please open up to me"

I just nodded. I have nothing to say to that.

I tried to play tough but as soon as He smiled, I couldn't help but smile back.

"Promise you'll tell me what the problem is when you're ready?" He said

“I promise”

He bent his head to kiss me. I bit his bottom lip giving him access to my mouth. I stood on my toes since he was way taller than me.

He wrapped his arms around my waist, mine around his neck pulling him closer to me

It seemed like forever until he stopped

"Kitty if we don't stop, I may not be able to control myself" he whispered

I was hot all over. Ruby whimpered in disappointment

"I understand”

We looked into each others eyes.

For those few moments it was just both of us, nothing else mattered

"l know its not been long but I love you kitty"

"I love you too"

"Really?"

Of course, I did, he was my mate. I loved him the first day I saw him

"Really"

He hugged me tightly

"Good night Kitty"

"Good night Liam"

He kissed me one more time before going out the window
