POV Gianna:

The look of pure fear crosses Alex’s face as we make eye contact. I smile and grab Onyx and strap him in his seat. I grab a towel from my go bag and set it in the front seat when a contraction hits. I grab my stomach and hunch over in pain, trying to take in deep breaths.

“Please mind link Rasheed, I am in too much pain to concentrate on the mind link right now Alex” I grunt out.

“Already done my Queen, he is already at the hospital waiting for us and he has the room already being prepared for you.” Alex says.

I am finally able to get into the car, but the contractions are so close, I don’t know if I am going to make it. I feel an urge to push, and I am trying my best to stop that urge.

“Ahhhh fuck, this hurts so damn bad” I scream.

I hear giggles from the back seat and remember that Onyx is with us.

“Oh Munchkin, mommy is sorry for using bad words. I am just hurting.” I tell him.

“I know mommy my brother and sister are coming, but you will be okay, and we will make it. I told granny to pick me up.” Onyx says.

Looks of bewilderment have passed between me and Alex. We pull up to the hospital and I am scooped up by Rasheed’s strong arms. I am instantly relaxed, but that only lasts for a few seconds.

Another contraction hits and Rasheed takes off down the hall to our delivery room. I am placed on the bed and given a gown to dress in. I feel another contraction coming but my mind is not concentrating on the pain, all I can think of is where is Onyx.

“Where is Onyx?” I anxiously ask Rasheed.

“I was about to mind link your parents when your mom popped in front of me. Scared the shit out of me. She said that Onyx mind linked her and told her you were in labor.” Rasheed says.

“He told me we are having a boy and a girl and that he mind link my mom as well. Rasheed, he is just over a year old, and he is so smart. His vocabulary is so enriched for a one-year-old heck even for a ten-year-old. What if he is gifted like me or stronger?” I ask with anxiety written all over my face.

“Don’t worry about this right now, we are bringing two little lives into the world. We will have your mom check Onyx over and see if he is Fae gifted, that would explain a lot.” Rasheed coo’s into my ear.

It’s been five minutes since I arrived in my hospital room, and they are already telling me it is time to push. I put my legs into the stirrups and begin to bear down.

The doctor tells me to stop pushing, that something is wrong. Panic shoots through me. I can see the worry on Rasheed’s face as well.

The doctor tells me that the cord is wrapped around baby B and if I push it could be fatal. He has to go in and get the cord from around baby B’s neck. He reaches inside of me and pain rips through me, my claws extend, and I let out a loud growl. It feels like someone is ripping me in half with a silver object, I have tears streaming down my eyes. Rasheed is sprouting hair all over his body on the verge of shifting.

“Please baby, I need you here with me. I need you to not shift. Please Rasheed, I need you!”

I try my best to calm him down, two Alpha’s pheromones in the room are almost killing the staff in the hospital. He stops transitioning and

looks me in the eyes, while caressing me cheeks. He places a kiss on my lips, and I feel the pain subsiding.

The doctor removes his hands and tells me it is ok to push again. I am sweating at this point from all the pain I am going through. I can feel the urge to push again and this time the doctor does not stop me.

I push three times and I hear the most beautiful cry.

“It’s a girl” Rasheed yells.

He cuts the cord and is holding our baby girl in his arms as he walks back over to me. I see my baby girl and she is the spitting image of me. My adoration of my baby girl is cut short as I feel the urge to push again.

From the corner of my eye, I can see Rasheed hand my baby girl to my mom, when did she come in here? I can’t think about that right now though, I need to meet my other baby. I wonder if it will be a boy like Onyx says.

The doctor gives the okay to push and this time it takes me four pushes to get my baby out.

“It’s a boy!” Rasheed jumps up excitedly.

I am all cleaned up and the staff have left the room. It is just me and Rasheed, they took the twins out to check them over and will be bringing them back shortly. I am so exhausted that I can barely keep my eyes open. I want to see my babies. All three of them.

“Mom, can you bring Onyx in when they bring the twins, I want all my babies in the room before I pass out.” I mind link my mom.

“Sure, thing sweetheart.” Mom mind links back.

A few moments later and in walks two nurses, my twins, my parents, Rasheed’s parents, Onyx and both our Beta’s and Gamma’s. The room is packed. Rasheed grabs Onyx and places him on the bed next to me and then goes back for our twins. Watching him hold these two little babies in his huge arms is comical. He hands me our baby girl and gets in the bed with me while holding our baby boy.

“Onyx, I want you to meet your baby brother and sister” I coo.

Onyx smiles and looks at his sister then over to his brother.

“Well, what are their names darling” Kay asks.

I look at Rasheed and smile.

“We would like to introduce Prince Jahziel Michael Jones, and Princess Savanna Gianna Jones” Rasheed says.

Everyone in the room wants to hold the babies, but I tell them all they need to wash their hands and sit in a chair before they can hold either of them. My mom and Kay get to hold the babies first, then our dads and so on. After about two hours I cannot take it anymore and the nurses come in and tell everyone visiting hours are over and the twins need to eat.

My mom and Kay are staying for a few weeks to help out with the twins and Onyx, so my mom takes Onyx and everyone else leaves. The nurses take the Twins for the feedings.

“I love you, my Queen.” Rasheed Coo’s.

“I love you, my King.” I whisper back.

Sleep is taking over me and at this point I welcome it.
