EPILOGUE

FIVE YEARS LATER.

BRINLEY.

Again, I am back to the dark place of mind as I pace the hospital floor.

Caliana called for me, and Xander when Dominic passed out in her room.

Dominic is having heart surgery again.

Dominic is twelve now, and Caliana is nine. These last five years have flown by, and Xander and I are proud that the kids are turning out.

Kyle had to take Xander outside to calm him down. When Jacobs didn't have any news, Xander tried to hurt him, but Dr. Jacobs didn't mind his behavior. His words were, "Xander is frightened, and he should be."

"Brinley, I got you a coffee,"

"Thanks, mama,”

Delores nods.

"Have you heard from Gabby?" I ask.

Delores shakes her head.

"She says her honeymoon is going great," Delores says.

"I still cannot believe she's married, and Eric is already sixteen," Delores mutters.

I nod.

"At least you get to watch them grow; what if I never get to see Dominic grow up?"

"You will,"

"Brinley, Xander," Dr. Jacos says.

"Is Dominic okay?"

Dr. Jacobs sighs.

"We opened up, but the valve is still in good shape. Dominic's heart didn't have enough blood to pump, that's why he passed out; now we've looked all over, there were no puncture wounds, nothing we don't know where the blood escaped to,"

Xander looks at me, then at Jacobs.

"Is our Son alright?"

Jacobs nods.

"He is currently receiving blood and should be able to go home in a week,"

"Thank Goddess," I mutter.

Xander wrapped his arms around me. Even though Dominic lived, I was still crying.

It's been two months since the scare with Dominic, and things have returned to normal.

Caliana and Annabella walk to school together every day, and Bane and Dominic do the same, along with Henry and Amanda's daughter Moon.

"Mama?" Caliana says, coming into my room.

"Yes, sweetie?"

She eyes my book and then puts her head down.

"Cali, do you want me to read you a story?"

She nods.

I grabbed her hand, led her back to the room, and tucked her into bed.

"What story would you like?"

She smiles and giggles.

"The one about the princess and wolf,"

I sigh.

"Sweetie, I've told this story to you a hundred times. Aren't you sick of it?"

"No," She shakes her head.

"Okay,"

"Once upon in a cursed Kingdom lived a princess named Caliana.

Caliana was a beautiful girl cursed with two mates princesses Caliana was forced to choose between her two loves. Now Caliana was a selfless princess who loved all, but Caliana’s mate forced her to choose him by threatening to end the other mate's life. Caliana's other mate was devasted by her rejection, and he killed her and the mate she chose."

A witch cursed Caliana to come back to earth time and time again with the two mates. Caliana couldn't understand why she remembered her past lives, so she wrote them down in a journal. But, princess, Caliana was being followed by an evil bad wolf."

A wolf that wanted nothing more than to see her die, but Caliana knew this, and she knew she would have to destroy the dire wolf, but she couldn't do that because she didn't have the heart to kill another. *

"One day, the princess's friend Jasmine tried to warn her, and the wicked wolf killed her, Caliana’s amulet knew the threat was near her, and the amulet destroyed half of her kingdom. And when Caliana's mate killed her for the last time."

"When princess Caliana returned, her new mommy solved the problem and raised Caliana and her mate as brother and sister and promised Caliana to marry a boy from another kingdom where she will live happily ever after,”

I close the book and see Caliana is sound asleep.

I closed the book with the story I wrote her about her life and kissed her forehead.

"Hasn't she grown tired of that book?" Xander asked when I came to bed.

"I guess not," I sigh.

"What will you tell her when she asks you why you didn't tell her that book was about her?"

"She knows it's about her. But she thinks I made the story up,” I tell him

Xander shakes his head.

I raise a brow.

"I'll tell Caliana when the time is right. When are you going to tell Dominic?" I taunt him.

"When he turns sixteen and realizes she is his mate,"

"Uh, huh,"

"What?" He says, frowning.

"Why are you waiting until then?"

Xander sighs.

"I get you're point,”

I purse my lips.

I love winning.

"Good," I mutter.

"Lose the attitude, or I'll spank you," He warns.

The sound of Xander's dominating voice has my panties soaking wet.

"May you should,"

Xander raises a brow, and I smirk.

Xander pulls me my ankles and flips me over his knee.

Xander's rough hand rubs the soft skin of my ass, and I bite back a moan.

SMACK.

Xander rubs the spot he just spanked.

"Would you like more little mate?”

I nod.

"Yes, please,” I said, and half moaned.

SMACK.

"Ah."

SMACK.

"Xander?" I moan his name.

"That's right, baby, moan my fucking name,” He groans.

SMACK.

Xander flips me over and pulls me to the edge of the bed.

"I'm going to fuck this tight pussy of yours,” He groans as he slides his cock through my wet folds. "Fuck,"

"Yes, fuck me, Xander," I breathed.

Xander wasted no time and slammed his hard dick into my pussy mercilessly.

"Yes..Right there,”

Xander bites my nipple and sucks to tease the hard buds.

"Fuck, yes, little mate.” He groans deep.

My legs tremble as Xander pounds into my orgasm, rocks through my body, and I'm shaking. Xander stiffens as he finds his release.

Xander falls next to me and pulls me close.

"I can't get enough of you, little mate,"

I giggle and curl against him.

"I love you too, Xander,"
