ISABEL

I was tired. Tired was an understatement. His entire body hurts. could barely move without feeling pain. I’ve been tied to this chair for heaven knows how long and to top it all my stomach kept grumbling reminding me that it was empty and needed something to eat.

I wanted to sleep but I couldn’t sleep. I don’t even know if it’s night or morning or afternoon because I cannot see and I’ve been tied to a chair in this dark scary room where I couldn’t see anything.

I heard the sound of the door opening and soon footsteps. My heart began to rate.

“Hello.” I called out and just then the lights turned on.”

Jade walked towards me with a frown on her face. She doesn’t look happy.

“You bi tch! I think everything will go well for you! Not while I’m alive and I hate you so much! I hate you so much!” She screamed the minute she came in front of me before pulling my hair making me scream in pain.

“Let me go.” I cried out.

“Let you go? Trust me I’d let you go but only after you die because you don’t deserve anything good in this life” She shouted

at me.

Let me go!” I continued to cry as she pulled out my hair.

Soon she let go and I felt my head bang from pain as a result of her pulling my hair.

“You are a bit ch! Logan thinks he can threaten me to give you back but he’s wrong and you won’t go back to him. You both won’t be together. You can’t have him! He’s mine!” She shouted.

“He has the guts to call me and threaten me? Well, guess what? He threatened the wrong person. He cannot have you no matter what because as long as I cannot have him then one else and for those bas ta rd children of yours…” she trailed off clicking her tongue.

“I will make sure they don’t have a father or mother or I kill them instead.” She added and I screamed at her.

I could take anything, any insult, and any pain but anyone who comes for my kids is where I draw the line. I know what it was that I went through to have them and the pain and tears it took me to have them and I would be da mned if anyone hurts them

“Where are my kids?” I asked through my teeth while glaring at her.

“Where are your kids? Are you still asking about them? Do you think I’d tell you where they are? You must be stup id to even speak to me!” She slipped me across the face.

“Da mn! I hate how you still look although I just hit your face!” She slaps my face again.

I felt pain after pain on my cheek as she kept aggressively slapping me.

“You are s tupid. You deserve all bad things for the pain you’ve always caused me. I mean you are a nobody. You are nothing but a sl ave! One who used to work for me and suddenly you think your current status changed what you were? You are and will forever be a sl av e! You are nothing more than that.”

She kept shouting and each time she shouted at me, the more fierious I was and angry.

“Leave me alone!” I shouted back at her. I was angry. How dare she shout at me constantly. It infuriated me.

“Where are my kids? They are all I want! Let them go and stop being st upid. You won’t gain anything by constantly being obsessed with Logan! He doesn’t want you and won’t ever want you so get over it already!” I shouted at her.

It was high time someone told her the truth and for her to accept that life doesn’t go around her and in her way.

“Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!” She shouted before pulling my hair again.

I struggled to get rid of her hold on me. “Let me gol”

“You can’t keep doing this.” The person who had tied me to this chair had made sure to tighten it on it hard for me to release myself.

“I will kill your twins but first I’d take one of them and bring their head to you. So which do you think I’d start with?” She asked, leaning close to me to spite me.

“Maybe it just starts with the one that looks like you after all she looks just like your and makes me furious then I’d bring her head over for you to see. Then after that, I’d kill the boy but I won’t kill me after the girl, I’d kill him after I’ve killed you to deprive you of getting to ever see him again and then you shall learn the hard way”

I clenched my fist in anger. “If you do that I promise that I’d make sure you don’t ever love.”

“Is that a threat? Oh, I’m so scared. I’d love to find out if it’s a threat so how about I go over and do the needful and present your kid’s head to you.” she remarked with a smile on her face, one that I was tempted to wipe off.

Don’t you dare?” I warned through gritted teeth.

She let out a hilarious laugh.

“You don’t know what it is that I can do or perhaps you know but you suddenly want to think you are better? I have warned you not to forget who you are Isabel. You are nothing but a sla ve My sl ave.” She repeated and I screamed at her.

That moment the door opened.

“Don’t you dare touch her Jade? Let go of her this instance.” Logan’s familiar voice echoed through the room.

He found me. He finally came.

I looked h oards his direction as he entered the room with Raymond following behind him and some men.

“How the hell did you find this place?” Jade asked, sounding surprised.
