I am sitting on the bed looking at the two boxes which Sebastian and vincenzo gave me. It's Catherine's birthday today and they both gave me the dresses while ordering me to wear it and as usual Its very difficult for me to decide that whose dress i should wear.

I opened the boxes and my eyes widened in surprise looking at their choices.

'these men I tell you...'

I did my makeup and hair, thankfully they arranged the makeup for me, very thoughtful I must say. Looking at myself in the mirror for the last time I head downstairs. The mansion is beautifully decorated with flowers, I guess Catherine like Lilly's so much.

Guest has already arrived, the hall is full of people and I am sure most of them are involved in illegal business. I could feel stares on me and it's making me anxious, it feels like they are judging me. I don't know why but my eyes are roaming in the hall looking for them like a highschool girl who looks for her crush in the classroom and sense of relief rushed in my body when I spotted both of them. Sebastian was talking with some men who seems to be his business partners. Vincenzo was talking something with Matteo, my heart almost skipped the beat when I saw Matteo's broken arm, his hand is wrapped in a cast. Did that happened because of me, don't tell me vincenzo hurted him for helping me.

Vincenzo and Sebastian looked at me at the same time making me conscious about my appearance, they bother smirked probably looking at the gown I am wearing. "Hello beautiful"

I looked at the Matthew who greeted me with his usual charming smile.

"Hey, you literally disappeared..."

I complaint making him chuckle, even if it's in bits he do tell me some important things and I want to know everything.

"Yeah, had some things to take care of... By the way whose dress you chose..."

He asked, looks like everyone knows about the dress thing.

I couldn't help but smile.

"They both gave me the same dress..."

"Well... I am not surprised"

He shrugged.

'why... Why he is not surprised, is it so obvious... Does it happen often?...'

"You are looking gorgeous by the way..."

Matthew winked at me and I internally prayed that they are not watching this. They hated it when I talk to Matthew and I have realized it, why? Matthew is a womanizer, he himself told me that how he likes to fuck different woman Every night and how he lure them. Frankly, I don't have any problem with him until he stays in his limits when he is talking to me.

I finally spotted him in the corner.

He looked at me with his cold eyes, this man is always emotionless like robot.

"What happened to your hand?..."

I asked impatiently. God please don't let it be me.

"Vincenzo broke it because I helped you..."

He replied nonchalantly and my heart dropped.

"I am so sorry Matteo..."

"Don't be... It was my choice to help you and I was aware that vincenzo will find out sooner or later. I wanted to give it a chance so you can get your freedom... Somewhere I knew that you can't make it and I was right..."

He sighed.

I am on verge of crying, it wasn't his fault.

"It's not your fault Florina. I broke vincenzo's trust and I deserved it. I am lucky that he didn't killed me."

He said like it's nothing big, how can he be so calm about it. His phone rang and he excused himself from me.

I saw Catherine talking to someone, she is looking beautiful in her purple gown.

I walked towards her to wish her. When I did she looked at me and smiled. I didn't expected her to introduce me with her friends but she did and what surprised me the most is she was praising me in front of them while I stood there awkwardly.

My eye darted towards the same woman whom I saw with Sebastian in that business party. She is with some man who looks like her father. She is wearing a black dress which is hugging her hourglass figure, will definitely look flat in front of her. Damn! she is beautiful. The girl directly walked towards Sebastian and hugged him, he frowned for a second and hugged her back.

I heard Catherine chuckling beside me.

"She is Scarlett, florina..."

I looked at her and nodded. Why should I care, who is she anyways.

"Scarlett is madly in love with Sebastian..."

She said with the smirk and my stomach churned. Why am I feeling like this, I shouldn't be.

'Does Sebastian likes her too, I mean she is so Fucking beautiful.'

Catherine seems to enjoy my condition. What does this woman wants from me.

"Scarlett and his father is here to make a marriage proposal, he wants Sebastian and Scarlett to get married..."

I felt like my heart has stuck in my throat, I don't know why but it feels so bad and painful. I can't imagine Sebastian with her, he said he wants me then how can he marry her. 'why my thoughts are so fucked up'

"Why you look so disturbed florina, I think it's good. Sebastian will be out of your way and you can be with vincenzo... Right?..."

How badly I want to snatch that Fucking smirk from her face.
