I'm not denying that Blake might be an all around nice guy because he might be. I don't know. The problem isn’t as much him as it is me. I just want to protect myself from getting hurt again. The year is 2095 and on the other side of the world is a government, known as The Elimination, that are keen on the destruction of children under the age of 18 who are not their own. Fourteen year old Daniel has experiences their wrath first hand. His mother was murdered, and Daniel, still grieving, is immediately sent to live with his wealthy aunt, her fiance, and his daughters in New Jersey. He's sent to a creative arts school known as Talent Hall. Daniel isn't sure he fits in there, but realizes this school isn't exactly what it seems to be with their auditions and talent show performances in other countries. The school helps him gain confidence, but that is slowly deteriorating as soon as Daniel's father comes back into the picture, the one that is in The Elimination, the one that watched his future stepmom rape him years earlier...
