" You may rise." She said speaking with so much authority.

" I have come to restore peace. My people have suffered enough violence. I am Iris Sophia Gonzalez and I am the Elysian."

" All hail the Elysian!" Mr T yelled.

" All hail the Elysian."

The aura around Iris seemed to dim and she fell. Luckily I got there right as she was about to hit the floor and caught her.

" That must have drained her. Let's lay her down."

It's been three days since Iris was revealed as the Elysian and she hadn't woken up since then. And I had been restless. I couldn't stand the fact that my mate was in a coma and that there was nothing I could do about it.

Ding!

I looked down at my phone and saw a text from Rose.

' She's up. Meet us at Mr T's in 30 minutes.'

' Okay.' I replied.

" Iris!, Are you okay?!, Is something wrong?!, Oh God your mum's gonna kill me." Emily groaned and Iris smiled a little.

" I'm fine Emily. I'm just a little overwhelmed." Iris replied quietly.

" So you're the Elysian?, Wow!" Mr T exclaimed.

" A part of me knew you'd be the one." Rose said honestly and Iris smiled.

" On the bright side, you always wanted to shift and now you can shift, wield elements and use magic!" Bryan said and Iris gave him a tight lipped smile.

They were all rambling about different things but Iris looked worried.

" You okay?"

" No. Not really."

" What's wrong?"

" When I wanted to get my powers, I wasn't expecting this. I can't do this Cole. I can't be the Elysian. I wanted my powers so that I won't be different. But now, I am different. I don't think I can handle the responsibility of being the Elysian."

" Iris no one's expecting you to be perfect now. You'll get a hang of it later. I mean Aang from Avatar did!"

" He only had to master the four elements. I have to master the four elements, learn how to control my shifting and how to use magic!"

" You'll do fine. I'm sure of it." I said placing my hand on her's and squeezing a little.

" I got it!" Mt T exclaimed.

" Got what?" Iris asked.

" Why you run so fast!, You used air. We always thought you were using the speed of an animal but you were using air to push you forward!"

" I guess Carl was right about one thing." Bryan said and Iris smiled.

" So, what's next?" Rose questioned.

" We call the council and announce." Emily replied and Mr T nodded.

" Wait!, Before you announce it to the entire supernatural world can I at least tell my parents first?" Iris asked.

" Sure!, You can call them-"

" Travis this isn't something you tell someone over the phone." Emily reasoned cutting him off.

" But-". He started but he shut up once he saw the look on Emily's face.

Who knew women had so much power over men?!

" Whipped!" Bryan muttered and Mr T glared at him.

" Okay, you can go home to see them."

" For a week." Emily added and Mr T protested.

" A week?!, She can't-"

" She never goes home. And this a really huge thing. You don't expect her to go and come back the next day do you?"

" I don't see why not-"

" Travis! It's Christmas break!" Emily warned raising an eyebrow and Mr T sighed.

" That's gonna be Rose and Bryan some day." Iris whispered to me while laughing and I nodded.

And us too.

" I'm going to miss you." Rose said tearing up.

" Rose quit it. I'm only going to be gone for one week."

" Yeah but you never leave school." Rose said crying and Iris rolled her eyes.

I was the last person to say goodbye to her.

" Excited?" I asked and she snorted.

" More like nervous."

" Why would you be nervous?!"

" I'm trying to figure out how I'll break the news to my parents and not get hugged till death." She said with a serious look on her face and I laughed.

" Iris Gonzalez was found dead in her living today. She was hugged to death!, That is not how the Elysian is supposed to die!"

" Iris just stop, you're killing me." I said laughing.

" My parents are gonna make a huge deal out of it."

" Well it is a big deal. I mean it's not everyday your daughter gets her powers and also happens to be the Elysian." I reasoned and she rolled her eyes.

The car that was meant to take her home arrived and she sighed.

" I'm gonna miss you." She said so quietly that I almost didn't hear over the thundering of my heart.

" I'm gonna miss you too. Although, there's one thing I'm not going to miss."

" And what's that?"

" Your mischievous side. The school will finally rest from your wrath." I said and she smiled cheekily.

" Cole, Cole, Cole." She tutted and I groaned.

" You already have pranks in place don't you?" I asked and she shrugged smirking.

" Am I at least going to be spared?"

" Will you be spared?, Or will you not be spared? That is the is the question you should be worried about."

She waved at us one more time before entering the car.

Claws whimpered as the car drove off and I rolled my eyes.

' What is it Claws?'

' She's leaving.'

' I can't deal with this right now.' I thought pushing him out of my head.

" She's supposed to be back today?, Why isn't she back?!" I asked pacing round the spot.

" Relax!, You're not even dating yet and you're this worked up." Bryan said and I glared.

" Her parents probably want her to spend a couple more days. I'm sure she's fine." Rose said and I sighed.

" I hope so."

" 'She's fine!' She said. ' Her parents probably want her to spend a couple more days.' She said." I said mimicking Rose's voice and she glared.

" Her parents claim they don't know where she is." Mr T said as he ended the call he was one.

" What if she's in danger?!, Or worse. What if the magicians have gotten to her?!"

" That's not possible." Emily snorted.

Rose, Bryan and I looked at her in confusion then Mr T spoke.

" After the prophecy was made, a group of the strongest supernaturals then made a protective covering on the Elysian. It was meant to protect the Elysian from enemy of whatever side the Elysian was born to.

But unfortunately, the covering was so strong that nobody else, even the people from her side can't track her. Unless she wants to be found."

" Well of course Iris wants to be found. Right?!" Bryan exclaimed and we were silent.

" She doesn't want to be found." Rose stated.

" Something must've happened when she went home." I said clenching my jaw.

" I hope she's safe." Emily whispered.

I hope so too.
