Chapter 28

“You’re a smart one, though.”

Sigmund laughed softly and reached out to run his fingers over her collarbone.

The first thought that came to Becky’s mind was that she had taken her shower for nothing.

“The solution is simple.”

Out of relief, Sigmund had let go of Becky’s jaw.

And his other hand casually landed on her breast, his eyes deeper and darker. “As long as you make me happy tonight, I will naturally step in to relieve the Wood family.”

Becky curved her lips into a smile and kicked directly toward his inner thigh.

But because of the lack of strength, the kick was slightly skewed, not reaching exactly where she wanted to kick.

The man paused in his movements.

Becky didn’t give Sigmund a chance to regain his senses. She slipped out from under his arm, picked up the phone on the counter, and dialed a number.

“Hello,

that security? I’m the property owner of Building 17. I have a break–in here. Please come over and get him out.”

The other party should have responded quickly, and the phone was then hung up.

Becky looked at Sigmund with a raised eyebrow and slowly picked up the bath towel before putting

it on.

“The Wood family has nothing to do with me! Get out of here! You’re not welcome here. Get out of my face in the future.

that you “Who the hell do you think you are? If you’re horny, find a hooker. Didn’t you say.

would like to find that kind of woman rather than touch me? How come you’ve forgotten so quickly, Mr. Moolery?”

Becky’s eyes were filled with disgust when she looked at him.

“Or did you just say it without thinking it through then? You’re more of an asshole inside than anyone else. You’ve forgotten what you said so quickly, huh?”

Her every word was like a sharp blade piercing his heart, making Sigmund’s eyes

colder.

Not waiting for the security to go over, he had already picked up the black suit on the ground with a – dark face

Chapter 28

“Becky Wood, remember what you said today. I promise I won’t help the Wood family any These were the last words Sigmund spoke as he left the second floor.

“Just as I had hoped.”

further.

Looking at his back, Becky suddenly remembered something the moment Sigmund came down

the stairs

Sigmund had been able to get in because of that password, which had been set ages ago

Becky was really negligent.

And thinking of this, she also went down the stairs.

Sigmund heard footsteps behind him and thought she had changed her mind. He pursed his lips.

But Becky walked faster than he did. When she reached the door, she deleted the passcode of his birthday on the combination Jock in front of him.

Sigmund clenched his jaw and stared at her with cold eyes as if he wanted to kill her with his gaze. He thought this woman had changed her mind, but she only wanted to delete the passcode.

“Mr. Moolery, please. Why are you still standing there? I’m still waiting for the door to be locked in case another perverted hooligan comes in. How dangerous it is.”

Sigmund suffered loss repeatedly from Becky. He looked at her with his dark and deep eyes for a moment and then walked out.

Sitting in the car, Sigmund lit a cigarette.

With a click, the flame illuminated his handsome eyes and brows. His eyes were deep and dark, not hostile, but a little more depressed.

Several years had passed. What did he still expect from her?

A cell phone ringtone rang out in the quiet car, disrupting his thoughts.

Sigmund exhaled a smoke ring and casually clicked to answer the call.

The moment the phone was connected, dynamic music came from the other end of the line, contrasting with the silence around him.

Henry’s voice, with a hint of laughter, came through the line. “Where are you? Do you want to come over for a drink?”

“Not interested.Sigmund’s voice was husky and magnetic. He looked at the person walking his dog. and Becky’s words came back to him.

Henry smiled meaningfully. Betty is here too. Today’s gathering is to welcome her return. Are you

sure you don’t want to come over?”

Sigmund was uncomfortable hearing Betty’s name.

If it weren’t for that name, he wouldn’t have blurted it out in front of Becky after that night.

“Got it.”

He casually replied and hung up the phone.

On the other end of the line, Betty looked at Henry’s phone with anticipation. She got excited the moment Henry said her name.

Initially, she was unhappy to have fun there herself, knowing that she might be unable to call Sigmund out.

After all, Sigmund left alone that night and didn’t care about her.

“Is Sigmund… coming?” she asked.

Henry speculated on Sigmund’s tone, which sounded a little upset. He nodded. “Probably, he will

come.

Sigmund liked to head over when he was upset.

But it was hard to tell if it was because of Betty.

At that, the corners of Betty’s mouth rose upward.

Miriam Jacobs, Betty’s bestie sitting next to her, looked at Betty’s smiling eyes and teased her along with the crowd.

She said, “I said it just how! You can just call him to come over. How would he refuse to come over for you? Who in this circle doesn’t know how devoted and special he is to you?”

Miriam’s voice was tinged with coquetry, and everyone echoed along.

“Yeah. Only when Mr. Moolery comes later can today’s gathering be considered complete.”

“Do you guys plan to marry after you return this time?”

“Since the person he really loves is back, no matter what, that fake should leave.”

When Henry heard those words, he did not make a sound but frowned.

He still remembered the last time. Naturally, he did not dare to interrupt at will. Instead, he sipped the wine in his glass at the side.

“No, it’s not the case. Sigmund is married and must be in a good relationship with his wife, and I think of him as a brother.”

Chapter 28

The door of the private room was pushed open while Betty was pretending to say something against her will.

Sigmund, in a white shirt and black pants, walked in, his jacket resting casually on his arm.

Strangely enough, the second button of his shirt was missing, and his shirt was a little wrinkled, which was a little evocative.

Betty frowned for a moment but then thought it was impossible.

Sigmund might be a playboy in the eyes of others, but she knew that this man was cold as hell.

Even when she stripped naked in front of him back then, he didn’t have a bit of lust in his eyes. Instead, he coldly told her to get lost.

She did not believe that anyone could subdue this man.
