Chapter 14

As expected, everyone heard these words in this quiet scene.

Becky paused for a moment, then smiled instead of getting angry. She looked at the person with her beautiful eyes and spoke with a slight smile.

“How many years has it been since the 21st century? Are you still living in the ancient times?”

While speaking, she raised her chin proudly toward a farther place.

“You allow him to have a female companion, but you don’t allow me to have a male companion. Your double standards are too obvious.”

The onlookers were left speechless.

For a moment, they didn’t say anything.

After returning to their senses, they suddenly realized something was wrong.

“What does Becky Wood have to compare herself to Sigmund Moolery?” they thought.

Daley looked at Becky with gentle eyes and said in a clear voice, “Ms. Wood, would you do me the honor of dancing with me?”

“Sure!” Becky reached out her hand with confidence.

There was slow music flowing in the ears. The two were unaffected by what had just happened, slowly dancing in the center of the dance floor.

Sigmund stood not far away, his eyes filled with anger, his slender fingers holding the glass tightly until the knuckles turned white and the joints became more prominent.

Marsh looked on, grateful for the cup’s good quality, which was not easily crushed.

He was just worried that Daley’s neck would replace this cup.

Sigmund witnessed everything that just happened, but he never expected Daley and Becky to be so shamelessly flirting with each other.

“Yesterday, Daley was only showing great concern for my wife on the phone, but today he directly. helped Becky in front of me.

“It was as if I didn’t exist.

“I underestimated the relationship between the two,” thought Sigmund.

At the same time, he became more certain that the two had talked about some confidential information on the phone that day.

Chapter 14

There was no chat history on it.

“If they haven’t chatted for a long time, how could they be so familiar with each other when they meet?” said he inwardly.

As Sigmund’s companion watched Mrs. Moolery dancing with another man, she couldn’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy and reached out to Sigmund. “Mr. Moolery, we should dance too!”

Before she could finish speaking, Sigmund forcefully shoved the wine glass in her hand,

With such a great force, the red wife in the glass splashed directly onto the woman’s hand, even dripping onto her snow–white dress like blood flowers blooming in the snow, scaring her so much that she couldn’t even speak.

Sigmund walked toward the dance floor and pulled back the smiling Becky with a cold face.

Daley instinctively wanted to move forward but was directly blocked by Sigmund.

Sigmund’s arm stretched across the slender waist of Becky. His possessiveness was obvious.

His handsome brows and eyes were covered with a coldness, like an icy nail piercing Daley in place.

“Mr. Castillo, it’s better for you to mind your own business when it comes to the marital affairs. between Becky and me. Take care of yourself.”

With just one sentence, Daley’s path was blocked entirely. He clenched his fists and could only watch as Sigmund took Becky away.

Sigmund had long legs and walked quickly and urgently all the way, almost dragging Becky along.

Because she was feeling uncomfortable, she kept pushing away Sigmund’s hand all the way, but it was utterly useless since the power difference between men and women was enormous.

Sigmund finally pushed Becky directly against the wall, and they were extremely close.

Becky was overshadowed by the intimidating presence of the tall man. It was extremely oppressive.

Feeling Sigmund’s breath on her face, Becky was slightly intrigued.

This distance made her feel uncomfortable, and the pain in her hand was intense, making her realize that Sigmund had no feelings for her. “Don’t be attracted by his naturally affectionate eyes.

“After all, he looked affectionate even toward a pile of dog poop,” said she inwardly.

“I underestimated you,” said Sigmund.

The first to retreat was Sigmund, and these words were almost squeezed out from between his teeth.

He could clearly sense the difference in Becky’s attitude toward him.

Chapter 14

He was getting even more pissed off at Becky’s nonchalant attitude these days.

“What? After getting back together with Daley Castillo, you can’t wait to ditch me, huh?” he wondered.

With his fingers pinching Becky’s waist, Sigmund said in a deep voice, “Becky Wood, I warn you, you are not completely divorced from me yet, so don’t do anything that will damage the reputation of the Moolery family.

This sentence made Becky laugh.

“Mr. Moolery, you have done this kind of thing a lot before, haven’t you?”

Sigmund narrowed his eyes and asked, “What do you mean?”

Becky’s Lips slightly curled. “What do I mean? I mean it literally. Mr. Moolery, since you can’t do it yourself, it’s better not to criticize me. Otherwise, it would be so disgusting. Right?”

Every time Becky spoke, Sigmund looked even more unpleasant.

He burst out laughing from extreme anger. “At least I’m not shameless like you!”

“What did I do?

“My female companion and I weren’t even standing close together, but she was all over another guy, even dancing together.

“Now she’s still acting so self–righteous!” said Sigmund inwardly.

“I was just doing whatever you were doing. We’ve signed the divorce agreement and have nothing to do with each other. Your girlfriend is still waiting for you, so Mr. Moolery, please go back.”

Becky just pushed Sigmund away with her hand.

However, Sigmund didn’t budge a little, so Becky ducked under his arm and walked away without looking back.

Sigmund closed his eyes, suppressed the anger surging in his chest, looking irritated.

He had never seen Becky like this before.

In his impression, Becky had never had such a look on her face when she was meek toward him.

While making him feel unfamiliar, it also evoked a sense of being overthrown.

“She really grew up!” said Sigmund inwardly.

Now, everyone standing outside became very excited when they saw Becky come out from behind Sigmund. They couldn’t take their eyes off them.

Becky had a relaxed expression on her face, and there didn’t seem to be any particular emotions.

Chapter 14

After coming out, she went straight to Salena, and they walked toward the sofa together.

On the contrary, Sigmund stood in the darkness, with his tall figure exuding a chilly vibe.

On the second floor, a tall figure stood by the railing, watching the busy crowd downstairs. He thought that flash of red looked somewhat familiar

“Mr. Terry, everything is ready and has been delivered. Are we leaving now?”

The assistant next to him was standing respectfully, reporting something to him.

The man pushed his glasses and carefully looked at Becky, feeling that this person seemed very familiar.

Upon careful consideration, he suddenly remembered that this woman bore a striking resemblance to his aunt, who had been missing for the past few years. Even their personalities were the same.

“Could it be that… he wondered.

“Mr. Terry?”

“Leave it for now.”

The man turned to his assistant and pointed to the red figure below.

“Go investigate that woman’s background as soon as possible.”

Although the assistant didn’t know what was happening, he would still try his best to fulfill the boss’s orders. He hurriedly left the place.

As Becky sat back in her seat, she felt like her mind had been cleared of noise.

Tonight she let out all her anger and felt incredibly relieved.

Those people who couldn’t keep their mouths shut didn’t dare to say another word. They just muttered to themselves in their hearts.

Plus, with Sigmund here, no one would dare to say even half a word.

Seeing everyone looking scared made Salena feel so good.

Seeing these dim–witted people fail, she felt definitely pleased.

This charity event was okay, not too exciting, but some people learned their lesson from the incidents.

As the gala was coming to an end, Becky didn’t go back with Sigmund but instead left on her own.

Most likely, Sigmund wouldn’t return tonight, which saved Becky some trouble.

After Becky finished washing up, it was already about midnight. She frowned and unconsciously

placed her hand on her stomach.

After setting her alarm clock, she immediately fell asleep.

The following day, she woke up under the repeated urging of her alarm clock.

Without procrastination, Becky quickly washed up and went to the company after breakfast.

It had been a few days since she started working, and because of her outstanding abilities, she was almost immediately called over by the team leader as soon as she sat down.

Quite a few people were sitting in the meeting room, but when they saw Becky, they all quieted down.

The team leader Gerard Munoz was introducing her to everyone.

“So this is our new member, Becky Wood, who will be joining our project team. Let’s all communicate in a friendly manner, okay?”

After all, Becky was someone highly regarded by Rocky Bradley. He approved very few people, so naturally, everyone was quite impressed with Becky.
