Kane’s breath caught in his throat when he saw an image appear on the scroll’s leathery paper.

“It’s here!” he called out, dark excitement coursing through his veins.

Caius immediately appeared at his side and Kane felt smug satisfaction when he saw the Necromancer’s eyes widen with shock.

“Dear Fates!” Caius muttered.

“I told you, you old relic. I told you it was real!” he bellowed.

The image finished revealing itself and showed two outcomes for the future: The Eternal World was overtaken by himself, Caius, and her as well as the other realms.

The second outcome showed the four on the island holding the Iron Arrow and then standing before a cheering crowd.

Her hands rubbed over his shoulders. “Our plan’s falling into place, my love.”

He closed his eyes. “Yes, they are.”

“Prepare the army,” she told Caius. “We begin now.”
