Chapter 18 : Dinner or Date? (Part I)

After what happened last night, Kayden never leave my side. He clean all my wounds and sent me to bed.

I slowly open my eyes when I feel someone breathing in my ear. By the tingles and warm, I'm sure that it is Kayden.

"Good morning Princess." He said.

"Princess?" I giggle by the endearment he choose.

"Why? Princess is cute. You don't like it?" He pouted.

I laughed at his action. "No it's fine. I just don't know that you are going to use an endearment a princess." I said turning on my left side so that we are face to face.

"You look beautiful." He said kissing me on the nose.

"Hey! I need to brush my teeth first." I said.

"It's fine. You know, even you farted I still like you." He said sealing his words with a warm kiss.

We pull away as we catch our breath.

"You're right. You need to brush your teeth." He said and I push him out of the bed. His butt landed on the floor.

"You are crazy!" I said throwing his pillow to his face.

He just laugh and went to the bathroom.

It's lunch time when we go down to the dining room. Everyone look at us and smile. Kayden pull the Luna chair for me.

Everyone seems to stop and stare at us. They probably thinking that we are now okay.

"Is there any problem anyone?" Kayden asked raising his brow. Everyone look away and continue what they are doing.

He serves me food which make it so awkward inside me he room.

I smile to him and we ate quietly.

"I have some pack business. Your clinic is already set up and you have the list of your patient, so I guess we are busy today." He said.

"Nice to know you didn't forget I'm a healer." I said giggling.

"I'll be home before seven, be ready by then." He said.

"Be ready for what?" I asked.

He winked at me. "Just wear something comfortable. We're going to dine out." He said leaving me confused.

Jaxson followed him smirking at me too.

What the hell are those smirks mean!

I stand up and put my plate on the sink and shower. I will be busy in a few minutes. I'm excited doing my job. I'm excited using my gift.

I enter my clinic and saw Carrie already in her desk and giving names and instructions to all the patients inside.

"Good morning Carrie." I said.

"Good morning Luna." She said. Smiling at me.

"Just call me Adellee, I'm not the Luna yet." I said while entering my room.

She followed me, giving me my schedule and the list of names of those who have check-up today. They are Louisa's patient that is now transfer to me after she was send to my pack. "Everyone is talking about the Alpha being nice to you at breakfast. They also heard that you are going out in a date." She said.

"It's not date! It's only a dinner. We are just going out to eat!" I said to her.

"Well, it's like date to me. Oh well, I will not argue with you. Here is your first patient today, enjoy." She winked at me before leaving.

I smiled, knowing that Carrie is one of my friend here.

The day past by before the last patient leave. It seems that there are many pregnant woman in here. They are almost twenty of they who visited me today. I stretched my arms above my head.

"Adellee?" Carrie

"Yes?"

"If you just want to know, its already six and the alpha will be here by seven. Remember the dinner?" She said.

"Oh sh!t... I almost forgot. Thank you Carrie for reminding me. Gush, I need to file all of this and put some notes and names of them here and prepare all the information and vitamins they needed and...." "Adellee." Carrie touches my shoulder. "It's fine, I can do that. Go and take a warm bath. You need to look good for the alpha." She wink at me.

"Thanks Carrie, I don't know what to do if you're not here." I said hugging her.

"Stop this drama and prepare for he date not so date of you." She said pushing me outside the clinic.

I smile to her and run into out room.

'You're excited.' Hena said.

'No I'm not!" I said.

'I can feel it idiot.' She said

'If you can feel it, why are you asking me?' I said.

'I just want to confirm it. I thought it's just a dinner? Why are you so excited' she said.

'You know why, I can tell that he can be our mate and I..... I think.... I....'

'You think what?' She asked. I can picture her grinning at me.

'I like him?' I said.

'Deny it all you want Adellee. But time will tell.' She said.

'You need to shut up okay.' I said blocking her to my head.

I showered and change my clothes. He said wear something comfortable so I wear a faded boyfriend pants and while cotton shirt with matching rubber shoes. I let my hair down and put some lip gloss in my lips. I love my natural look.

I am smiling to myself when I heard a knock on my door. By the scent of it, I know its him.

"Ready?" He asked when I open the door.

We look into each other until his hand reached my face.

"Yes, I'm ready." I said.

"You look beautiful." He said kissing me in the forehead.

"Thank you. You not bad too." I said giggling when he look a bit shocked in my comment. "I'm just kidding. You look great." I said patting him in the shoulder.

He held my hands and lead me to his car.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"It's a surprise." He said.

I sit beside him in front. So, it's only the two of us. I said to myself.

It's a thirty minutes drive when we arrived in a house near the beach.

"What is this place?" I asked.

"It's mine. We are still in my territory, but this one is hidden from everyone. Only few know about this place." He said opening the door.

It's a wooden bungalow house but when you come inside, the furnitures are up to date. It has kitchen, dinning and living room. It feels like home. "Your place feels home. When did it build?" I asked.

"I build this five years ago and I always stay here when I wanted to rest." He said putting a picnic basket in the table which I didn't notice he have. "You build this? Wow! That's amazing." I said.

"I know many things love." He said winking.

"Love? Where that endearment came from?" I asked while helping him fixing the table. The foods look delicious and smell so yummy.

"I just think about it. Why? Don't you like it? We can make it sweetheart, darling or babe." He said.

"Kayden you are so cute." I said throwing him a piece of grapes. "Love will be fine." I said.

We sit facing each other while the delicious food is in the table. It's look like a date to me but a dinner too.

But it's not a date Adellee. Hena my wolf said.

"Shut up!" I shouted.

"What?" Kayden asked.

"What?" I asked.

"You shouted me to shut up." He said.

"Oh I'm sorry. I'm just thinking of something." I said.

We eat silently until he put the plate in the sink.

"Come on." He said.

"Come on? Where are we going?" I asked.

"The night is still you and I planned something special for you." He said.

"What is it?" I asked.

"You will see soon. Just be patient." He said.0000
