Chapter 339.1 Where to Escape I 

Ivette walked back and forth in the living room of the hotel room several times irritably. 

“The duck that was almost cooked flew away! Huh! Let’s see where he could escape!” she thought. 

It was just a useless struggle. Yohan had arranged his henchmen in this building. Troy would fall into her hands sooner or later. 

Ivette held her anxiety and walked towards the fire escape. 

It was dark inside and exuded an eerie feeling. 

She hesitated. 

It was more than thirty floors. Would Troy go down from here? 

“Lady?” A voice came from inside suddenly. 

Ivette’s heart almost jumped out of her chest. She took two steps back while covering her chest. 

She reached her head and found a dark figure standing in the corner of the stairs. 

She stamped her feet vigorously, and the voice–activated light came on. 

Only then did Ivette see that the black figure was a young woman with a pale face and red eyes. She was probably hiding here because she was in a bad mood. 

“You scared me,” Ivette breathed a sigh of relief. 

The woman said. “I saw you keep looking in.” 

“How long have you been here?” 

“About half an hour.” 

Ivette quickly asked upon hearing that, “Have you seen a man passing by here? He is tall and handsome!” 

The woman shook her head blankly. “No. No one has walked over since I came here. Here are over thirty floors. Who would take the stairs?” 

Ivette’s mouth was wide open in surprise. “Are you sure?” 

“I’m certain.” 

Where did Troy go if he didn’t take the stairs? 

Ivette hurried back to the room and opened the closets one by one. 

She was afraid that Troy would hide in the room. It was dark under the light, after all. 

All the closet was empty. It seemed he was not here. 

If Troy hadn’t taken the stairs, he might have been hiding somewhere, waiting for her to enter the room before taking the elevator down quietly. 

If so, he might have already escaped if Yohan’s people didn’t guard the building we 

Or, he might still be hiding in a certain room on a certain floor. 

The uncertainty had increased too much. 

Ivette quickly called Yohan. 

Troy would not go back to the lobby on the first floor if he took the elevator. He w to the underground garage.

“Did you see Troy come out just now?” Ivette asked. 

“No,” Both of them shook their heads. 

“When did you get here?” 

One glanced at his watch and said, “About 8:53.” 

Ivette felt a sudden anxiety in her heart. It was 8:50 when she found Troy was not in the room and called Yohan. 

There was only a window of three minutes after Niles received the order and immediately called. in their people to guard the building. 

However, it would have taken less than two minutes if Troy had taken the elevator from the 32nd floor to the first floor without stopping at that time. 

“Miss Rover, what’s wrong?” one of the guards asked. 

Ivette walked away before she had time to explain. 

Troy would leave in a hurry if he came to the underground garage. After all, he was drugged and feared they would react and find him. 

Therefore, Ivette went to check if Troy’s car was in its original position. 

If the car was there, Troy was probably still in the building. If not… 

Ivette walked to Area D, where Troy’s car was parked. She breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the familiar license plate number. 

She turned and walked back. 

Suddenly, a big hand reached out to cover her lips and dragged her to the corner.
