Chapter 82 

A lawyer sitting on the left glanced at her name and smiled. “Your results are also very good… but you didn’t study Law to begin with?” 

The person who spoke was Remy Brown. Lawyer Brown was also the youngest authoritative lawyer in the law firm. He was only in his early thirties and looked refined and handsome. He had a lot of experience in divorce cases. 

Victoria nodded and said honestly, “I majored in Finance as an undergraduate student.” 

“Then why did you change to study Law afterward?” 

Victoria pondered for a moment and said solemnly, “Because I hope that I have the ability to fight for legitimate rights and 

interests.” 

The four lawyers paused, glancing at one another. 

“I’ve heard of you. Helen said that she had a deep impression of you during the interview. Can you tell me what impression you gave her?” 

Helen was the female lawyer who spoke for Victoria during the first interview.

Gale Dowson nodded and inquired, “What do you consider to be your most distinguishing feature?” 

Victoria said, “Persistence. As long as I have a goal, I will not retreat easily.” 

“But you are not the only one who has this characteristic. There are many persistent students who came to the interview today.” 

The one who spoke was an elderly middle–aged man. He had a gentle appearance and a pair of gold–rimmed glasses. His speech was very orderly and clear. 

Remy introduced him to her, saying, “This is Gale Dowson, the sole litigator at the law firm. He’s also one of the founding partners of the firm.” 

Victoria could tell that he should be the person who had made the calculations here. 

She sat up slightly and said, “Although my educational background may not be the most impressive, I’m still on par with A University’s law system. I’m already from a domestic Top–level school’s Law major. People may see my history of switching majors as a disadvantage, but I’m confident that I can still get good grades despite the challenges of switching majors. This shows my dedication and capability.” 

Gale nodded and did not say anything. 

“What else do you have to ask?” He looked at Steff Grant. 

Steff was an international lawyer and was more professional. He directly asked Victoria in Esperanto. 

Victoria paused for a moment. 

Her Esperanto grades were not bad, but it was obviously not as fluent as those who had returned from studying abroad. 

She could comprehend their queries, yet to respond to them in her Esperanto tongue, it was not very fluent, yet she could roughly convey her intent. 

Steff nodded, “The written Esperanto should be quite strong, but it’s true that you don’t have any experience studying abroad, so you may be lacking in terms of language proficiency.” 

Remy nodded, “Indeed, most of our lawyers have studied abroad, as we not only handle domestic affairs, but also conduct a lot of international business. Don’t worry, language proficiency can be acquired –”
