Chapter 26 

The woman’s voice continued to grow louder and louder. 

Like a walking corpse, Victoria walked to the door of the bedroom. 

The door here was not closed, only ajar. 

She was like being abused, listening to the movements inside. 

She didn’t even know how to hide and just stood there, receiving cuts and slashes. 

The next second, the door was suddenly opened from the inside- 

She looked up and saw Matthew, who was wearing a nightgown, appear before her eyes. 

The man’s face was cold, and he didn’t look like he had done anything. 

However, the smell in the air still told Victoria what he had just done inside. 

She clenched her fists and could not say a word. Her body trembled a little. 

Her gaze passed over the man’s shoulder and landed on the big bed in the middle. 

The woman in the silk nightgown had beautiful eyes. She propped up her chin with one hand and looked out the door. She said flirtatiously, “Who’s there?” 

Matthew did not look at her. Instead, his gaze swept across Victoria’s face. He said indifferently, “It’s just a gift.” 

These four emotionless words instantly shattered Victoria’s heart into ice. 

She knew this woman who was a student at a university. 

She was the one who had gotten into Matthew’s luxury car in school some time ago, the one who had caused a small 

sensation. 

She pinched her palm hard, feeling an unprecedented humiliation. 

The woman inside had already departed gracefully and snuggled up to Matthew as if she had no bones. “What are you offering me? Don’t I already have everything we need… Before I came looking for you, I had already gathered all the condoms I had. They are incredibly thin!” 

Victoria frowned and instinctively covered her ears. She did not want to listen to the details between them, and her face was so pale that it was transparent. 

Only then did the woman notice her standing at the door. She was stunned for a moment and seemed to be a little surprised. “You are… Victoria? Why are you here?” 

Her gaze fell on the pair of earrings she was wearing. She paused for a moment and then said to Matthew, “Mr. Shadwell, didn’t you say that you would give me the pair of earrings?” 

She pointed at the earring that Victoria was wearing. “How could they be on her ears now?” she asked. 

Her shout did not cause any ripples in Victoria. 

She just looked at Matthew. “Are you sure you want to torture me like this?” she asked. 

He gave her a piece of candy and then stabbed her ruthlessly. 

There was no warmth in Matthew’s eyes when he looked at her. 

He did not miss the bitter sadness on her face and the embarrassment after being humiliated. He smiled sarcastically. “Don’t tell me you think that I gave you this pair of earrings? Victoria, you sure know how to flatter yourself” 

Hearing this, the woman next to him seemed to be enlightened. “Mr. Shadwell, did you request her to send something over? Did she think you had given it to her, so she wore it on herself, correct?” 

Victoria thought that she had been through hundreds of battles in the past three years, but she still felt pain spreading throughout her body. 

“Since they belong to her, I don’t want them.” She forcefully pulled the earrings off her ear and threw them on the ground. 

Didn’t he just want to torture her? 

Didn’t he just… want to see her in pain? 

Victoria took a deep breath. 

It was fine. 

It had been three years, and it was just a small injury…

She tried to make her voice sound calm, and the moment she turned around, her feet were a little unsteady. 

“Mr. Shadwell, shall we continue?” a woman teased from behind.
