Before I could say anything, he addressed himself as my soulmate. He was so shameless.

I shove his face away. "I haven't asked you yet. When did you get a soulmate? Who did you marry behind my back?"

Colin deftly avoided my hand and stuck to my face again. "You're my wife. I'm your husband. We're soulmates, of course. If you're in a rush, we can get married as soon as the courthouse opens. How about I go back and give you all my wealth first?"

"Hmph, who's in a rush? You're the only one who's in a rush."

"Yes, I am, but I can't marry alone. Baby, when are you going to give me a pass? Do you realize how heartless it is to only hug you without doing anything further?"

Colin pretended to be aggrieved again. He stuffed me into the passenger seat, fastened my seat belt, and started the car.

When this topic came up, I felt overwhelmed. I was so useless.

I was usually good at refuting. However, when it came to speaking about our relationship, I would lose my eloquence. I simply pretended not to hear Colin and abruptly shifted the topic to his troublesome admirer.

It was almost midnight when we got home. Andrew and Queenie were sitting on the couch, waiting for us anxiously.

"Why are you up?" I asked Queenie. She hadn't recovered yet, even after she returned from Harveyton. Due to the low temperature there, she felt uncomfortable on the way back. She should rest early. She took my small bag and hung it up. "I haven't slept yet. How is she? Is she seriously injured?"

Queenie didn't sleep at all. She was woken up and kept waiting for us because she was worried about me.

I told Queenie what had happened. She bulged her eyes in anger after hearing that. "Is Jasmine crazy? Are men who have girlfriends so good? How many years has it been? Does she still covet Colin? She's so shameless in trying to destroy a couple. Whoever wants to be a mistress is a disgrace!"

I felt warmed to see Queenie, who was angrier than me.

She was hurt by a mistress back then and hated the mistress so much. Today, it was my turn to encounter a similar incident. She couldn't bear to see me aggrieved, so her anger grew. However, she wasn't in good health. I didn't want her to get angry because of my bad encounter, so I comforted her.

In fact, my situation was much better than hers. At the very least, Colin and I only loved each other, unlike Flynn, who wanted to have two women at the same time.

It was just that I would hurt Queenie if I voiced my thoughts, so I kept my mouth shut.

Fortunately, Andrew showed up. I couldn't predict what the future would bring, but they appeared to be getting along well. That was enough when he could pull her out of the abyss. Their future would be determined by their efforts.

Back in the room, I noticed Colin on the phone. Based on his solemn expression and words, I could guess he was talking to Jasmine.

"Jasmine Taylor, I've said the same things many times before. I don't know if you're not understanding or if I didn't make it clear. But I'll say it again. Luna is the only one I love.

"I don't and won't like you. Even if it's not Luna, I won't choose you as well. So, stop making trouble. You were injured because of me. I'm grateful to you. I can do anything for you as long as it doesn't violate ethics or the law, but you can't touch my bottom line.

"Since you said so, I won't pursue it. I can forget what happened today, but I hope you can take it as a warning. If something similar happens again, I'll pursue both cases together."
