Caroline slept soundly with her two slender arms pillowed under her. Her eyelashes were like butterfly wings, falling downward quietly and obediently. Her fair-skinned face was ruddy, and her breath was incomparably sweet. The whole ward was full of her b*dy fragrance.

Nathan did not sleep when he was on a business trip for the past few days. He could not fall asleep without Caroline’s aroma.

Nathan stretched out his hand. He did not remove the black leather gloves and used his slender index finger to brush Caroline’s face.

Caroline felt cold and itchy on her face as if someone was disturbing her. She opened her eyes in a daze.

Looking at Caroline’s little silly and cute expression, Nathan smiled. “You become foolish after sleeping? You don’t recognize me anymore?”

“Mr. Faraday, you’re back!” Caroline was clueless that Nathan would come back that night.

Nathan took off his black leather gloves and put them aside. He looked at Nora lying on the bed and asked, “Is your grandma doing fine?”

Caroline nodded. “My grandma’s condition is very stable. Thank you, Mr. Faraday.”

Nathan glanced at her and asked, “Where’s the restroom?”

“There.” Caroline pointed her finger in the direction of the restroom.

Nathan quickly walked into the restroom.

Caroline breathed a sigh of relief. At that time, Nathan’s attractive voice came from inside. “Caroline.” He was calling for her.

Caroline’s heart ski pped a beat. She walked over. “Mr. Faraday?”
