What was her problem? She was scared about me asking her about her past like she feared it and then when she wants some time alone in a library she gets all funny about it.

I had to trust her though. She knew the magic that all demons could perform but to me it a little more like witch magic. To royals it was witch magic.

I left Katsi and went down to the dungeon where I would get my answers. No one was there and I understood. It was night. And it was about time for the rounds. I was glad.

I walked down to the last cell and Danni was lead on his bed probably sleeping. I made the cell rattle and he moved his head to look at me.

“What do you want?” He asked.

“Where is the child?” I asked. He groaned but didn’t answer. I growled at him. He sat up and looked at me.

“Why should I tell you?” he replied.

“Because I want to know where the child is. Katsi deserves to have her kid.” Danni just shrugged at my words. He acted like he didn’t know what I was on about. “I know you know, so tell me.” I said. Danni sighed but looked at the floor.

“I saved her life. If she had that baby she would have died. I opened the scar of her fight with her sister and I took the baby out early, then I erased her memory of it.”

“Why?” I asked.

“It was my child but I also didn’t want her to suffer. I have seen mothers go insane over the loss of a child, cute little Katsi was not going to suffer.” I nodded at his words.

“Did she consent?” I questioned him.

“If you are accusing me of raping her then you’re wrong” he said with a hard tone.

“Was it proper? Or did you use the drug?” I asked. His grin twisted and his eyes set to hatred.

“She came on to me. She was the one who got drunk and started it. Who could resist that body when drunk?” asked. I rolled my eyes but agreed. She was pretty sexy. I walked off as he started to chuckle. He had started to go insane if he wasn’t already.

I started to walk up the stairs when I heard foot steps. When they stopped I listened in.

“Will you save her, can you be hers? Will your life ruin your relationship which hasn’t even started yet? Can she handle the disappointment in which you will give her time and time again. Can she be saved from the hatred that will consume her?” I started walking again.

What ever he was on about that wouldn’t happen. She was stronger than to hate anyone. I headed to my room stopping outside Katsi’s to listen in. I didn’t hear anything and the light wasn’t on.

I sighed and I went to my bedroom. I crashed on the bed and I just led there. I didn’t sleep and I didn’t try to either. I wanted to understand what she was up to. I wanted to understand what was going on. I needed to understand.

I searched my brain for anything. Was it to do with the drug, her past my past, my blood history? Was it to do with anything I had said to her.

I shot up and cursed my self. I ran out my room an to the library as fast as I could I pushed the door open and ran through the bookcases trying to find her. When I saw her she was on the floor with the book at her knees open. She was staring at it not doing anything. She sagged all her muscles and limbs. I walked up to her slowly. She lifted her head and tears leaked down her face.

“I...” I started.

“You love me?” she asked softly. I nodded. I knelt infront of her and I took hold of her hands. “Why?

“Why what?” I asked.

“Why do you love me? You haven’t known me enough. All I have brought you is trouble. You hate me. You loath me.”

“I love you because you are the most stubbornest girl in the world, everything you do gets me angry but even through all that I can’t help but feel for you. You have had so much go on in your life and our pasts have intertwined so much.”

She stood up still lifeless. Her emotions had gone, she seemed nothing more than an empty shell. I stood up with her. She stumbled over to me and I placed my hands on her shoulders to keep her up straight. Her face was in mine and her lips so close to mine. I wanted to kiss her again but I thought it might make the situation worse.

“You smell so good” she whispered before she passed out in my arms. I sighed and shook my head. She was exhausted. She was in disbelief. I picked her up and carried her out. I whispered the closing spell and I carried her back to her room. She was muttering in her sleep. They were confused and she was hurt.

I did this to her and in my heart I wanted to take revenge on everyone that had caused her pain but I knew that would be wrong. Why I set on it I didn’t know but I had to set things in motion.

I looked at Katsi one more time and I then walked out of her room. I set myself at a run and ran straight to my mothers room. She lay on her bed reading a book. When I stormed in she looked at me nodded.

“It is time then?” she questioned me knowing exactly what I wanted. I nodded in response. “I thought you were waiting for more evidence?” I hung my head. “You were until she found out?” I nodded. “Does she know the full truth about her past yet?” she asked me. I shook my head. I couldn’t speak. What was wrong with me? I fell to the floor and stare at the carpet. The patterns my eyes made intrigued me. “Wait until they are back. Then you will get what you want, I need Katsi to remember. She needs to awaken from her fantasy slumber” my mother had walked over to me and pushed me to sit up properly. I looked her in eyes. They eyes of a wolf. She took my hands and pulled me to my feet. I was dragged over her bed where she hugged me.
