I had kissed her and it didn’t even phase her. She just sat there silent and not moving. I don’t know why. I don’t even know why I kissed her. Then later, around midnight after not eating and not sleeping I went to train and she had walked out of the room. She didn’t even look at me. She said sorry and walked off.

I was now angry with myself even more but I couldn’t help but think. I had looked at her and I could have sworn that I saw her sparkle, if only just a little. I cursed myself and I got angry, I don’t know if I wanted to love her.

I was so angry with my self I decided just to hit everything I came in contact with, most of the things that had been left out where chucked cross the room and everything was near enough broken when I left. It only took me a couple of hours to destroy everything. I was angry with myself and everyone else that I came in contact with. Why did they do that to me? Why did Danni have to come back, and why now? Everything had to happen this way, I was sure.

It was sunrise when I finally left the room. People had started awaking either to get some training in or to leave and move on to their next HQ for a couple of weeks.

I walked the corridor not thinking of food. I wasn’t hungry. Instead I went to the room where I had been teaching Katsi her guard history and I went through my papers and found out the recent test, it was the hardest yet. I looked through it smiling every time I read a question. I knew she would able to ace this test. She was clever but I also knew that there would be a lot on her mind meaning that she might not be able to concentrate on the test and screw it up. I knew had to leave her in the room by her self.

Every time I thought of her, she was so beautiful and he face appeared in my mind and she was always smiling brightly.

When I had decided to put the paper on the table I left the room and headed for Katsi’s. When I got here it was still dark and she was still asleep, she looked cute but I couldn’t help but be evil and wake her up. I walked over and sat on the edge of the bed. I shook her shoulders and she moaned. I shook her harder and her eyes opened to look at me with pure evil in them.

“What do you want?” she asked me. I beamed at her.

“Test time” I told her. She frowned and then it dawn on her.

“Are you kidding me? It is like 6 in the morning, I am not awake for a test!” she almost screamed,

“Then wake up, have a shower, and wake up, it your paper test today” she blinked at my statement but then she sighed. She nodded and sat up.

“Fine, I will” she said. She removed her cover and physically pushed me off the bed. My eyes were glued to her body. She wore a tank top that had ridden up so it showed her belly and her trackies were riding low on her hips. She pushed me towards the door and out her room. She took hold of the door and glared at me before closing it. I felt like a right idiot. I knew I couldn’t help it but I guessed she was mad at me for kissing her.

About half an hour later she reappeared from her room. I trued not to take any notice of the fact that she was in a mood but it bugged me. I tried to act as though it was me who being cold to her but we both knew that wasn’t true.

We arrived at the room and Katsi sat down. I gave her her instructions for the exam and then I left. I didn’t know where I would go for three hours but I left her. I walked around the fort not taking notice of people pointing at me about what had happened yesterday. It was yesterdays knew and I was back, even colder than they remembered.

I don’t know how but I ended up in the dungeons. I didn’t want to be here but somehow I had brought my self here. The head of security gave me a respectable nod and let me pass. I looked in through the bars and looked at the sorry people inside.

They were to be punished but we never starved them and we never abused them or tortured. We just left them there until they were pretty much sorry for themselves. I got the last cell and I saw Danni. He was sat with a piece of wood. He had been carving it out during meal times. It looked good but I could see where he was going with it. If we won’t give you a weapon they might as well make on.

“Zev, the lord of the guard, how are you?” Danni said with out looking up. I could tell her had a smirk on his face because he had that tone of voice.

“I am fine, thank you” I answered bitterly.

“I hear things” He said. I rose an eye brow.

“What things?” I asked him. He looked at me.

“That you have gone soft since a pretty lass came into your care. I can see how, you couldn’t even hurt me” he said.

“You are dead, I killed you, So how did you do it?” I asked him. I knew the sentence didn’t make sense but when you thought about it, if the one man I hated was dead but he was here then he had to have come up with a scheme to get past me.

“I asked a pretty little witch to help me. Of course she didn’t know at the time. I can be quite hypnotising.” I frowned at him.

“Witches are extinct” I stated. He got up and walked over to me.

“OH they aren’t and you know they aren’t. You kissed one today, don’t they smell beautiful” He said. He was smirking. “A witches scent is the strongest of all races. It is as real as you and me standing here, it takes strong people to resist the scent of a witch” He said to me. He sneered. Her looked evil and I knew straight away that he was trying to play me.

“What was this ‘witches’ name?” I asked just out of curiosity.

“Katsi Torres” he whispered. He stepped back and smirked wider. I was stunned, it couldn’t have been her, she doesn’t know her powers. She couldn’t work magic like that. She can’t even heal her self.

I span and walked off but he stated to chuckle. I stopped and turned to look at him.

“She is adorable isn’t she? Do you know why she is here, why you had to go an get her, because I made her, I made her expose her self. She didn’t even know, I was the innocent by stander who spotted her and then I told people.” that had done it. I stalked back and took hold of the bars. I ripped them off with out much effort and then I got Danni by the collar. He was chuckling harder at this point. All the was going through my head that he was insane. “She also helped me in” he said. This time I smirked.

“Really, well, there you are wrong, she has been at home with me, she has been with me constantly, so this time you are wrong” and then I let it rip. I punched him, kicked him and attacked him with full hatred. The security guard pulled me off him when Danni only looked barely alive. I shrugged him off and stalked off up stairs to find my mother. I needed to talk to her. I needed to know what was going on. I needed to find out what Katsi knew and how she was involved in this, unless Katsi was not the only witch.
