“Well, that’s not entirely accurate. To be precise, the current Chrislyn is not the same person you once knew,” he clarified. 

Marina furrowed her brow in confusion. 

“What do you mean?” she asked.

“Besides, she even risked her life for me. I find it hard to believe that an undercover agent would go to such lengths,” so saying, Marina’s hands tightened by her side.
