Chapter 420 She was a very important person in his life! 

Audrey drove to the city hospital. 

When Audrey arrived at the hospital and took the elevator to the ward, she felt a slight nervousness in her heart. 

After he confessed to her last night, she knew that Anika was the most important person in his life. 

He hated his mother and they had no feelings for each other. When Audrey first met his mother, she wasn’t as nervous as she is now.

Standing at the doorway, I glanced inside through the glass window. 

A tall and stern figure leaned against the sofa, with a large hand supporting the forehead, as if asleep. 

Lying on the sickbed was a slender figure, facing away from the door. Audrey couldn’t make out the woman’s appearance. 

Audrey raised her little hand and gently knocked on the door. 

Sterling, who was leaning on the sofa for a nap, suddenly opened his eyes and looked towards the door of the hospital room. 

In a moment, a hint of surprise flashed through his dark eyes when he saw Audrey. 

A few steps later, he reached her. 

“Audra?” 

He probably didn’t sleep well last night, with bloodshot eyes and a faint stubble on his chin, the handsome face showed an undeniable fatigue that couldn’t be concealed. 

Audrey raised the thermos in her hand and smiled gracefully, saying, “I came to see Anika.” 

Sterling took the thermos and his long, slender hand held Audrey’s hand, pulling her into the ward. 

“Come in quickly, let me introduce you to each other.” 

Audrey followed Sterling into the ward.

Sterling opened the thermos and saw chicken soup and bone porridge inside. He turned around and glanced at Audrey. His bony hand gently rubbed her head and he said, “You woke up very early this morning, didn’t you?” 

Audrey pulled his hand away and whispered, “Don’t mess up my hairstyle.” 

“Thank you for your hard work, but Anika doesn’t eat meat. She is a vegetarian.” 

Upon hearing Sterling’s words, Audrey was momentarily stunned. 

“Wait, I’ll have Deon bring some food over. You cook, and I’ll eat.”
