Kelsey became dumbfounded due to the slap.
It was the first time that Audrey had slapped Kelsey, and Audrey slapped her so hard.

Kelsey just came to the door. and she came across Rylan and Elise.
Elise knew that Audrey was never willing to let Kelsey tutor her. Every time they did homework together. Audrey
ld play games. So Elise asked Rylan to come with her on the excuse of sending milk to the two girls.
When Audrey agreed to let Kelsey tutor. Rylan obviously raised new hope for Audrey Elise wanted to ruin Rylan’s hope, making him realize that Audrey would always let him down.
As soon as they came to the door, they saw Kelsey covering her face and tears hovering in her eyes.

There were only Kelsey and Audrey in the study. Besides Audrey, who else could slap Kelsey?

Rylan strode into the study and was about to question Audrey when he saw her sitting in front of the piano, her thin shoulders drooping. Audrey’s pure eyes filled with tears. She seemed to be so grieved that she was about to shed tears at any time.

“Kel has to do her homework, so she doesn’t have time to tutor me. I went to practice playing the piano because you will soon be forty. I know you like ‘Autumn Sonata‘, so I want to perform for you on your birthday.
“But Kel said I disturbed her and said I didn’t play well. When I asked her to teach me, she scolded me for being untalented and said I couldn’t learn anything well!” Audrey rubbed her fair face against. her, but she didn’t know anything. When I said I would tutor her when I was done, she deliberately played harsh notes to disturb me. I just reminded her, but I didn’t insult her!”
Kelsey went to the desk and picked up two spitballs she had stuffed into her ears. “She didn’t listen to me. I plugged my ears with spitballs. I really don’t know why Audra slapped me and deliberately slandered
me.”
Audrey had expected that Kelsey would not admit it. She looked at Kelsey with her eyelashes trembling. “Kel, do you think my notes are harsh?”
“Isn’t it? Audra, stop playing if you can’t play well. Rylan will invite a lot of guests to his 40th birthday party. Do you want to embarrass him. on that day?”
Audrey did not say anything anymore but sat down in front of the piano. She began to play the piano with her slender fair fingers.
