Chapter 37: The Cabin

I arrived in town two hours later. I drove to the gas station and filled the Trailblazer before driving to the store to get the food I would need. Once that was finished I drove to the cabin. It was a 15-minute drive. It sets off the road about five miles. It has electricity and gas. So I am not in the woods so far I would have to use a generator or oil lamps.

After I arrived I parked in the driveway. I got out and sat everything on the porch before unlocking the door. As I opened the door I smiled. The cabin is very clean. There is someone that comes in once a week. They dust and sweep keeping it ready for visitors. I had notified the woman who rents the cabin out for me not to rent it for these two weeks.

I carried everything into the cabin. I put the groceries away before unpacking my suitcases. Then I changed into shorts, a tank top, and tennis shoes. I walked out of the bedroom and out the front door. I turned and walked through the woods to a small family cemetery. I walked over to mama and papa’s graves and sat down. Mama, papa I miss you so much. I have had a pretty rough time of it lately. But I have to tell you that Rain has a beautiful little girl. She is married and claimed by a man name Rage.

He does love Rain. But, sometimes he messes up. Right now he is getting the silent treatment. He was caught in the bar letting a woman sit on his lap. I smiled looking at her stone. Mama, I thought I finally found a good man but I was wrong. I chased him. His name is Beast. He is Rages VP. He has a scar on his face and he is a big man. That does not bother me. To me he is handsome.

Then a tear rolled down my cheek. I was in a relationship before I mate Beast. The man was controlling and beat me. I left him and went to Rage's MC. I have been there for a year and chased Beast I said, mama. I fell in love with him. I was going to be claimed by him. I got mad at him because he told me I could not go with his sister Star to the gym. I had not talked to him since.

Then I went to the bar and saw him, Rage, Panther, and a few other men with women sitting on their laps. I have decided not to be claimed. Mama, I love Beast but I cannot have another man who tries to control me and cheats. Granted he did not have sex with her but it is the same thing. He kissed her and she was on his lap in his arms. It made me feel worthless, unloved and used.

I am thinking about moving out of the club. But then I found this room that has a sitting room, private bathroom, small kitchen, and bedroom. So it is like I have my own apartment. To be safe their I have decided to ask Rage for a sister in law property cut. If a woman does not wear one she is considered fair game. No one in the club knows that I am his sister in law. I asked Rain to keep it a secret.
