Chapter Thirty-Nine

The next week flew by but I was still always looking over my shoulder for mine and Ethan’s dad, everyone was on extra patrol and me and Jen both helped in training the pack, and let me just tell you the pack hates us now with all the extra workout we been giving them. In our spare time, we have just been getting to know our mate’s, brother and mate’s parents.

Jen and I just finished training with the pack and we make our way back inside the packhouse and head straight to the kitchen, god I need food before I die.

“Hay Michelle, what do you want to eat?”

“Um... Oh, your mac and cheese with a twist!”

“Sounds good to me.”

Jen makes very quick work of preparing everything she needs to make the food, I take a seat as Jen walks back into the kitchen from the pantry, I am sat there with a sly smile on my face. My smile turns sinister when I notice that Jen is watching me.

“EVERYONE JEN’S COOKING!”

“No.”

I shout which makes Jen shout no, I can tell she can’t be arsed cooking for everyone but I know she loves cooking and that everyone in the packhouse loves to eat her cooking. Jen gives me evils when we both hear lots and lots of heavy footsteps. Here come the guys, then the door swings open revealing Damon, Nik, Ethan, Nate, and everyone’s parents. Jen put’s the items down on the island and walks back into the pantry, then she says.

“I’m going to fucking kill you one day Michelle.”

“Well, you shouldn’t be such a good cook then.”

“Bitch.”

“I know.”

Jen and I both start laughing as she gets cooking but just before that she turns to everyone else and says.

“Okay go back to what you were doing, I will call you when the food is ready.”

Everyone smiles before they make their way out of the kitchen and the only ones that didn’t go were Nik and Damon. Nik comes up to me and wraps his arm around me placing loads of kisses all over my face making me giggle like a schoolgirl, I wrap my arms around his torso and make him start kissing on my lips. We may be in the same room as my sister and her mate but damn this is getting heated. I decide that now isn’t the time to be getting all hot and heated with my mate. When I turn around from Nik I see Jen cooking whilst Damon is hugging her from behind, with his arms around her waist and head leaning on her shoulder.

“You know it’s not good to distract the cook when cooking?”

“Yes, but I can’t help it! Any way I could do something worse!”

“Do I even want to know?”

Suddenly Jen gets spun around and Damon kisses her, she wraps her arms around his neck and pulls him closer, when she pulls back Damon has a cheeky smile on his face so she punches him in the arm.

“Go away so I can finish cooking!”

“Not just yet!”

They both go back in for another kiss so I have to interrupt.

“Damon get back now if my food gets burnt I will kill you.”

They pull away from each other and look over at me where I am sat with Nik stood next to me looking at me lovingly. I am sat giving Damon evils, Jen laughs before she pushes Damon away and getting back to cooking. Good, I just love ruining moment like them, what can I say, the number of times she has done it to me I got to get her back at some point.

“EVERYONE FOOD’S READY!”

Not even after she shouted that we could hear everyone moving towards the kitchen, Jen turns to me and Nik with Damon.

“You three get the plate and let’s eat.”

We all make quick work of getting everything ready as Jen brings the pot of food over to the table. Once everyone takes a seat, Damon tells everyone that they can eat and that’s just what they all do. Once we all finished a couple of girls helped me and Jen take the dirty pots into the kitchen then we got told to get out of the kitchen by some of the women saying.

“We got the pots you two go chill for a little bit.”

Me and Jen both said okay and made our way into the living room only to find the guys watching some boring shit on telly, me and Jen walk over to the guys and not caring at all I go and sit on Nik’s lap and I see Jen do the same with Damon, the guys don’t even bat an eyelid, me and Jen look at each other and rolls our eyes, honestly, men their all the same in this packhouse. They love their tv and we could live up to our name of evils sisters and turn it off but we don’t have the time because mum walks in with two cups of coffee.

“Here you go girl’s.”

“What’s this for mum?”

It’s like Jen read my mind what does mum want, what is she after?

“I just thought you could use one, so here you go.”

“Thanks, mum.”

“Thank you.”

Mum takes a seat in the corner and we all turn back to the tv. I lean into Nik as he puts his hands around my waist whilst I drink my coffee. Nik kisses me on the side of my head and we watch whatever it is the guys are watching for the next half an hour until the show finishes, the telly gets turned off and everything is a peaceful quiet.

“Hey, baby can I ask you something?”

Damon asks with Jen answering with a hum whilst she sips her coffee.

“Will you go on a date with me?”

Jen starts laughing so I start sniggering as well.

“Should I take that as a no?”

Jen turns to Damon in the eye, making us both stop laughing.

“Wait your being serious?”

“Of course I am.”

“Oh!....um.”

I can see Jen trying to look at me for help.

What the hell do I say to that? I don’t get asked out on dates!

You dick say yes!

But what if I do and everything goes wrong or he only wants to take me out because he-

Jennifer shut the fuck up and say yes!

Jen turns back to Damon to find him patiently waiting for her answer. I know for a fact if all this goes tits up then she will blame it on me.

“Okay!”

“Really!”

Damon looks bewildered with Jen’s answer, I can see a big goofy smile spreading across Damon’s face, I start sniggering but Nik tries but fails to shut me up.

“Yes, I’ll go on a date with you.”

“Perfect we are going out tonight at 7.”

“Okay. Where are we going?”

“That’s for me to know!”

“Okay simple question One what should I wear and two what shoes?”

“Casual and flats.”

“Sounds like my kind of date.”

“Good.”
