Chapter Twenty-Seven

“Why don’t we do what Michelle suggested?”

Ethan says to everyone. With that, everyone moved towards the living room to sit down. I am grateful for Ethan getting everyone away from the front door. Mum, Jen and the guys start moving and once they are all in the living room I shut the door and make my way towards them. As soon as I am in there I see Jen just sitting back and chilling and then I look over at mum and she is having a go at Damon for hurting Jen and me.

“What the fuck did you do to my daughters?”

“I didn’t mean to like I said I don’t know why but I just lost it.”

Damon looks down slightly, this guy is supposed to be Alpha but he is being scolded by my mother haha this is gold.

“Who the hell do you think you are? I don’t care if you just lost it, you still shouldn’t have laid one finger on my daughter. Have you seen her she looks a right state.”

“Half of her injuries was not me!”

“Well, who was it then?”

Shit does my mum know about this stuff.

“I told you I had no-”

“Will you all just shut up I am having an argument here.”

We all look over at Jen to see that her eyes are clouded over. What does she mean she is having an argument with herself or something. Mum and Damon stop arguing and we just sit there staring at Jen. What is wrong with her. Next thing I know all I hear is Jen say quite loudly.

“You fucking Demon!”

I doubt she meant to but then I hear mum say nearly under her breathe.

“Shit, I am way too late.”

“What the fuck do you mean too late? Too late for what mum?”

Mum looks slightly scared at the fact that I heard her and no one else did.

“How the hell did you hear me say that?”

“I heard you perfectly fine mum now you have got to answer our questions now and no more stalling.”

I start raising my voice to my mum and I see Jen straighten up because she must have heard me say that to mum.

“What’s going on?”

Jen says. We all look over to her and I say.

“You also have got to answer some questions like what the fuck you on about Demon for.”

Jen sits back with a shrug and she said.

“Nothing just talking to myself to get away from you all arguing.”

Mum and I both look at Jen with a look as to say ‘you really expect us to believe that shit’ but we both know we aren’t getting anything out of Jen.

“Fine whatever I will get it out of you later.”

I turn back to mum and I hear Jen mutter.

“You can try haha.”

I shoot my head back to Jen narrowing my eyes at her but she laughs. Bitch, I look back at mum also with narrowed eyes.

“Answers now!”

“I... I can’t.”

“Last chance mum.”

I say but even I am sure it won’t get her talking because the only thing that gets her talking is when Jen gets really angry I don’t even know why either.

“I told you I can’t!”

Mum says a bit firmer raising her own voice and I sigh before saying.

“Then I have no choice, Jen your up.”

“That won’t work Michelle.”

Jen looks at me but my eyes are looking across the room when she turns her head she realizes that I am looking at Damon. She needs to get her anger up then it will work on mum. I can see Jens anger growing the more she looks at Damon and then she turns back to me with an evil smile.

“Okay, my turn.”

Jen looks at mum and mum takes a step back with just her look.

“Mummy, Please tell us what you mean by that comment.”

“No.”

“But mmmuuummm!”

“NO!”

Mum shouts and Jen looks at me out of the corner of her eye we both know that it is working. I just smile at Jen.

“I think you really want to right about now mother.”

Jen’s face turns hard as she says that to mum, Jen tilts her head slightly to the side.

“N-no.”

Mum answers more nervous than before.

“Okay then maybe you can tell us why we didn’t know we had a brother and HOW HE’S A WEREWOLF!”

Jen is definitely more angry with every word that comes out of her mouth then she is fuming.

“Jen, um Michelle just calm your sister down, it’s time I tell you all the truth and I can’t take it away again not with you finding them!”

Mum says pointing to the guys, what the fuck does she mean by again!!!

“AGAIN WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN AGAIN?”

It’s like Jen read my mind, she stands up shaking with anger and I can feel the heat coming off of her.

“YOU ARE TELLING ME YOU TOOK OUR MEMORIES AWAY BEFORE!”

“It’s not like that Jen, I promise I needed to protect you girl’s and hide you it was the only way.”

Mum is trying to reason with Jen but it isn’t calming her down so I do the only thing I can think of. I grab Jen’s arm but I can tell she didn’t feel much because I had grabbed her bad arm. I look Jen in the eyes and see that they are blazing red and her skin is burning hot. I stand in front of her in order to get her to focus on me to calm her down. I see Jen’s eye’s glaze over then go clear a minute later and see that she is focusing everything she has on me.

“Breathe Jen, Just breathe.”

When Jen finally calms down I sit her on the couch before I turn to the guys.

“Can someone get her a coffee and a cookie if there are any left.”

Nik goes out of the living room and within minutes comes back with two coffees and the plate of cookies.

“Thank you, Nik, even though I only asked for one for Jen you got me one as well.”

He smiles as he hands them to me and then he goes and sits back on the other couch. I gently hand Jen a cup of coffee before I take a seat next to her with coffee and cookies in hand. I put my cup and the plate of cookies on the coffee table in front of me and start to inspect Jen’s arm, Jen looks at me.

“What are you doing?”
