Chapter Sixteen

We all say our goodbyes and me and Jen both hug Dexter and then make our way out the door of the office and up the hallway that we came through when we got here until we got out the doors. Once outside I take a few steps and then stop and just close my eyes and tilt my head up towards the sky.

“Come on let’s get home.”

Jen says to me, I stay quiet but nod and start to walk towards the jeep. Once at the jeep, I jump into the passenger side and Jen jumps into the driver’s side and we head home. Very soon we are home and parked up in the garage. Once the jeeps switched off I get out and wait by the front door waiting for Jen to open it since she’s the only one with the key, she comes and opens the door and we walk in, Star comes running up to us asking to be let out. I go to the back door and open it and sit on the porchway waiting for Star she comes running out behind me and slightly into the forest. I just sit there for about half-hour waiting for Star and just thinking well trying to clear my head but it won’t let me. A few minutes later I see Star coming running up to me so I stand up and turn to walk back in with Star and shut the door behind us locking it.

I make my way up the stairs with Star on my heels and head to my bedroom once in my bedroom I shut the door halfway because if Star doesn’t want to stay in my room I won’t get woken by her. I go get my pajama’s and go into the bathroom and have a quick shower dry off and get changed and jump into bed. I lay down in bed and everything is switched off my room in darkness, the only light is from the window and that’s because of the moon. I close my eyes and breathe in and out and the light slowly turns into darkness as I slip into a peaceful dreamless sleep.

The next morning I wake up to Star jumping on me and licking my face and Jen stood next to my bed with a massive smile on her face.

“Easy Star, and Jen what’s with the creepy smile and what are you doing in my room?”

“Well, the creepy smile is because it’s Monday morning and we get to go school to see what Damon and Niklaus would say about yesterday and I’m in your room because if you don’t get up and dressed right now I’ll do something that you probably will or won’t like. Now get up you lazy arse bitch.”

“Okay, okay I’m up, I’m up.”

Jen goes out of the room calling Star to follow her but she’s reluctant so I shoo her to go with Jen so I can get dressed. Once Star is out of the room I get up and go to my walk-in closet and pick out my best outfit which consists of a black and blue tight fitted skirt that goes down to just above the knee, a tight baby blue tank top that shows a little cleavage off, blue 4-inch wedge heels and with my hair, I put it half up into a bun as I did at the weekend and my make-up I put bright blue eye shadow and rose-colored lipstick on. Once I am done I look at myself in my full body mirror and think to myself, yep gonna rock it today.

I go downstairs and see Jen making bacon and eggs mmmm love my sister I do for making these fabulous breakfasts. I sit down just as she’s plating up and she passes me my plate and it’s finished in seconds.

“Cheers sis, you ready to rock today.”

“Hell yeah I am, I can’t wait to see the look on everyone’s faces when I’m finished.”

Jen says evilly, I wonder what she’s up too. It’s gonna be a good day today I can just feel it. We decided rather than going on our bike’s because one I’ve got a skirt on and two it seems a little chilly outside we decide it is time to show up to school in separate cars but not any cars my classic baby blue mini and Jen’s classic car. We go and get into our cars and drive off to school. Once at the school we find parking spots and by us being so lucky today we found two by the side of each other right at the doors of the school. I jump out of my classic mini and technically skip to the side of Jen’s car. I start talking with a massive smile on my face but mine isn’t creepy like Jen’s mine’s just very enthusiastic.
