Prophecy Of Doom
Chapter 37:

Amara: “Everyone, meet Circe. She’s a witch.”

Circe: “You forgot to add ‘one of the two most powerful witches of all time’.”

Amara: “Sure. Did you bring it?”

Circe: “Yes, so when do we start?”

Ryan: “Start what? Visiting all thirty eight packs? You said we don’t have time to visit, all the packs will take us days or even a month if we travel with my jet.”

Amara: “No it won’t. It’ll hardly take us two to three days.”

Luca: “What? How?”

Amara: “That’s what we were talking about. An ancient relic I asked Circe to bring.”

Circe: “It’s something that can intensify the powers of its user if he or she is capable of handling it. It’ll help Amara teleport to the other side of the world if she can handle it but let me remind you, it’s dangerous. Especially for the people who’ll travel with you.”

Amara: “No, they won’t get harmed as long as I’m there to provide them a shield.”

Circe: “That’s true. So where to first?”

Ryan: “I’m sorry. Did we hear that correctly? You both are talking about teleportation?”

Amara: “You’ve seen me jumping from one place to another without being seen.”

Ryan: “Yeah and that was mind-blowing.”

Amara: “Thanks. That’s what we’re gonna do now. First we’ll evacuate all our pack members to a safe place.”

Ryan: “You wanna evacuate 29,000 people to were? They aren’t even ready yet.”

Amara: “I told you, it’s a safe place and they don’t need to get ready or anything. They just need a few essential things. We’re leaving. Craven is on his way here now if we didn’t leave now. We get drowned and the flood of blood. Tell your pack members through mindlinking thingy that it’s time. Last night I told Walter to inform them about the evacuation and the things they need to carry. (in the living room)”

Ryan’s Mindlink: “Walter, is everyone ready?”

Walter’s Mindlink: “Yes alpha, we are ready.”

Loris: “We came as soon as we got your message. Our coven is outside. Care to explain what this is all about.”

Ryan: “We don’t have time to chit chat. we need to leave right now. Where’s Gloria?”

Gabriele: “She has something to take care of, she’ll join later. (Damon’s old room)”

Circe: “Are you sure you wanna do this?”

Amara: “Do I have any other choice? I’m not alone in this, am I?”

Circe: “My powers are nothing compared to yours. I have a limit but we know nothing about your limit.”

Amara: “Let’s do this.”

Circe: “Here we go. (they open a portal and they go through - in the living room)”

Kage: “The whole place is empty. (running the whole pack area)”

Axton: “How the fuck is this even possible? Not even a single soul is left in his place. We didn’t see them leave.”

Brandt: “We underestimated that bitch.”

Axton: “What are we gonna tell Craven? (three hours later somewhere in the fields)”

Ryan: “Are you okay, love?”

Amara: “I’m fine.”

Ryan: “How did you manage all of this? This place has supplies for more than the people who would arrive here.”

Amara: “Apparently, when you have money everything becomes easy. I needed a place where no one could locate us and Circe told me about the caves. The caves were made by her fellow sisters bound by ancient magic, although it took me a few days to reopen it with my powers. It was worth it.”

Ryan: “You planned all of this? That means you were willing to come back to me?”

Amara: “I wanted to get your pack in a safe place because I knew Craven could’ve used you and your pack against me. I needed to avoid it at all cost, don’t get it twisted. I wasn’t willing to come back to you.”

Ryan: “I’m glad I made you come to me sooner. So we’re safe.”

Amara: “For now.”

Ryan: “I can arrange a bed for you if you want. You don’t need to use a sleeping bag.”

Amara: “It’s fine. I’ve slept on the streets many times. Sleeping bags are better than.”

Ryan: “The streets?”

Amara: “Margot was a moody mother and used to believe in disciplining me as I wasn’t an ideal daughter. She used to throw me out of the house sometimes and sometimes I used to live on my own when it was too difficult to even breathe in that house.”

In Ryan’s head: I wish one day you’ll deem me worthy enough to share all your painful memories with me…to open up.

Amara: “By the way, you’re pack members are good. They haven’t complained about anything yet, Diavolo.”

Ryan: “There’s nothing to complain about. They’re grateful you were concerned for their safety first and brought them all here.”

In Ryan’s head: If anyone did complain, I’m gonna behead them. I’m not tolerating any bratty fucking behavior. (ten minutes later)

Ronald: “I’m afraid they all wouldn’t agree to this. Leaving their pack knowing The Legion will slaughter each one of the pack members when they know they’re aiding us.”

Amara: “I’m aware of that and this is why I’m not gonna take each of their warriors. Just a few of them are needed. Their beta and omega will remain in the pack. They'll get a chance to save their lives, if we fail, The Legion won’t attack them.”

Liam: “Why not?”

Amara: “Who would they attack when they won’t find anyone? Circe and I will put a spell on their soil that'll create an illusion. The Legion won’t be able to see a single person in there, not even the air will betray us.”

In Ryan’s head: That’s my girl.

In Walter’s head: Is she really twenty one? My God, she seems like a warrior who has experience and wits of hundreds of years.

Amara: “We’ll start with your pack, Alpha Ronald but first, I want you to show me where your pack is and what it looks like.”

Ronald: “Show you? I mean, I have pictures of my pack house.”

Amara: “No, not pictures. I want you to show me in your head. Think about your home. You too, Liam. Are we ready?”

Ryan: “Yeah. Luca, Reanto, Azzurra, come with us. Walter and the rest will stay here and look after everything. (inside all the pack houses)”

In Amara’s head: We started visiting all the thirty eight packs, convincing them. It took us half the time we anticipated it would take. Surprisingly they all showed faith in me and trusted me with my plan. It seemed as if they all were waiting for the prophecy to come true and I’m glad everything went through without any bloodshed. Diavolo’s presence is feared and respected and I believe that’s the reason why this all become easy. Circe and I had extra work as we were needed to create a powerful illusion. Circe powers got drained as she had anticipated and I had to perform the spell for the last fifteen packs alone. Circe was right. It seems my powers are limitless. (in the fields)

Amara: “You should rest.”

Ryan: “I’ve rested enough. I wanted to talk to you about something. Tell me why you didn’t ask me to go to vampire covens. I could ask for their assistance too.”

Amara: “I thought it’d be messy and I heard vampires and werewolves don’t get along.”

Ryan: “I have cousins who are vampires and they could bring the other vampire coven’s. I guess you don’t wanna involve them.”

Amara: “I involved them. Gabriele’s coven is here aren’t they?”

Ryan: “How about we involve one more. The Black Knights. Their ancestry traces back to the ancient pure blooded vampires and I’ve heard there is a new member who’s actually a direct descendant of the most ancient and powerful tribe of vampires. If it’s true then we can use her blood to boost the power of Gabriele’s coven.”

Amara: “But would they agree?”

Ryan: “A try won’t hurt.”

Amara: “Fine but I’m not gonna provide them with blood bags. They need to bring their rabbits themselves and I don’t promise that I won’t steal their rabbit to save them and I don’t care if they die starving.”

In Amara’s head: I love hearing that sound. His laugh, especially when it’s from me. God only knows how much I’ve missed it. (The Black Knights coven)

Ryan: “Easy boys. We’re not here to hurt anyone. Take us to your leader.”

Alec: “Diavolo. May I ask what we owe this pleasure?”

In Ryan’s head: So his brother isn’t here.

Ryan: “I think you know. You’re fully aware of what’s going on around you, don’t you?”

Alec: “So you’re here to ask for our assistance in this war?”

Ryan: “That’s right.”

Alec: “Unfortunately I can’t aid you, Diavolo. You’re the one who started this war. I’m not gonna risk the lives of my people because of your stupidity.”

Ryan: “It’s a matter of time before The Legion comes knocking at your door and by the time they leave, dead bodies of your people will be lying all over this place and not even a single person will be left alive to mourn the dead.”

In Ella’s head: Who’s the girl? Is she the heiress everyone's talking about? Is she the one who’s become a threat to The Chamber? Why am I nervous under her gaze? The way she’s staring at me. I’m scared she could see right through my pretenses and unravel all my darkest secrets. Will she tell Alec for the alliance they are seeking? If that happens, I’m dead. Not even my ancestors’ powers will be able to save me.

In Amara’s head: The moment he opened his mouth I knew he wouldn’t help us. My attention got divided by the lady that was standing behind him. I knew my gaze made her uncomfortable but I couldn’t help it. She made me curious and I wanted to know why. She’s powerful, I believe she’s the one Diavolo was talking about. But does that coward Alec know about what’s lurking beneath that beautiful face of hers? I don’t think so and I have no interest in helping him discover because this sucker refused to help us and is understandable because he should worry more about the things that are coming his way with the lightning speed. So I said…

Amara: “It’s okay.”

Alec: “What?”

Amara: “I mean it’s okay, I know not everyone has the balls to stand against The Chamber. It’s not your fault you were born a coward. Let’s get out of this place, Diavolo. We wasted our precious few minutes coming here thinking we’ll find warriors here when in reality only a bunch of losers reside here.”

Alec: “These losers can suck out your blood from your body in a few seconds.”

Ryan: “I’d like to see you try.”

Alec: “You have a soft spot for this bi-”

Ryan: “Be careful how you speak about my mate or I’ll have no other choice than to show you why people call me DIAVOLO!!”

In Alec’s head: Mate?

Ryan: “You’re right, love. It was a waste of time. (five minutes later in the woods). What is it? Why did we stop?”

Amara: “Go ahead, I’ll join you in a few minutes.”

In Ryan’s head: She wants go back and behead that fucker? Who am I to ruin her fun.

Ryan: “Okay.”

Ella: “Hey.”

Amara: “Hello Ella.”

Ella: “So you know my name and you knew I would come?”

Amara: “Amara. Now you know mine.”

Ella: “I suppose you know everything.”

Amara: “Why would you say that?”

Ella: “The way you were looking at me, I could guess. But the question is why you didn’t reveal it to Alec and get the assistance you required?”

Amara: “He has nothing to offer. Who am I to come between you and your revenge?”

Ella: “This is the only way I can show you my gratitude. Here, my blood. Give it to your vampires, it'll make them more powerful.”

Amara: “Thank you.”

Ella: “If I survive this, I hope to meet you again Amara.”

Amara: “You’ll survive this Ella and they’ll pay for their sins. When a woman is out for revenge the devil sits back to enjoy the show. Make sure you give him something worth watching.”

Ella: “Did she just vanish?”

In Ella’s head: Why do I get surprised with these creatures? I should’ve gotten used to it by now. (later that night back in the safe place)

Amara: “Since we are all here. I just have one question for all of you. Why does The Chamber enslave so many people?”

Alpha Roghan: “Because they can. They wanna show the world that they're powerful and ruthless and there’s nothing that can stop them.”

Amara: “But it doesn’t make sense. There are so many people and enslaving them requires resources and space, why bother when they can easily kill? Why do they take them to their castle just to feed them and feed on them?”

Alpha Sebastian: “What are you implying?”

Amara: “It doesn’t make sense to me. Have any of you gone inside their castle?”

Alpha Xander: “Only alpha Diavolo.”

Amara: “Did you get a chance to explore the castle?”

Ryan: “No, we weren’t allowed to roam. We always had people watching us.”

Amara: “So you're telling me there’s no one who actually knows what’s beneath the castle?”

Alpha Dylan: “No one has ever left that place alive. The people who got captured and went inside never came out.”

Amara: “Tell me about their attacks. Has anyone ever witnessed it throughout all these years? How do they attack, what strategies do they follow? Your silence tells me no one has witnessed that either.”

Alpha Xander: “We never reached on time. But the time we had arrived at the attacked packed territory they were only ruins and ashes. Not a single alive soul on sight.”

Amara: “Diavolo.”

Ryan: “Only blood and ashes, no one ever found alive except Arnold but his mom's got him away from the pack before the attack happened so he couldn’t witness anything other than their screams.”

Amara: “When they came to your pack and murdered your parents, were they alone?”

Ryan: “We were actually outside their territory, the beta and omega and a few of my dad’s best warriors were also there. Only Axton came with a bunch of people.”

Amara: “Were they werewolves or vampires?”

Ryan: “I don’t remember. The memory of that day is a little foggy. I just remember how my parents took their last breath and who killed them.”

Amara: “They use magic. They didn’t want you to remember what you saw.”

Circe: “It’s possible they erased certain things from your mind entirely.”

Amara: “These are the only images I was able to collect. You see, the earth beneath the castle…it’s hollow. Can you imagine the vastness that it covers, that’s why I said it doesn’t make sense. Why do they enslave many people just to store them down there for what? To just torture them? I know they're sadists but doing all this without any purpose doesn't make sense. That place is so highly secured because there are no cameras. Nothing I could hack. They don’t use phones so there’s no way for us to know what lurks beneath that castle. I captured one of The Legion members two months ago. I made him sing like a bird. When I asked what’s beneath the castle he went quiet and he doesn’t know. There are only five people who are allowed to go down there. Craven, Jagger, Kage, Axton, and Brandt. The only useful thing I was able to know was the way to go down there and nothing else. (later on)”

In Amara’s head: Silence. That’s what I got. My questions are still unanswered. Something is lurking beneath that castle, I can sense it and going in there without having a single clue what we'll deal with is fucking stupid. Craven is indecently silent. He didn’t show the fear I was expecting. If he knows more about me than he should run for his life. He knew he was damned the moment he got to know about my existence because the prophecy says I’m his doom. He sure is restless but it’s not satisfying enough for me. He has something up his sleeve for sure. I can’t risk these people’s lives, it’s my responsibility to analyze every possible outcome. Lack of knowledge will lead us to our grave so it’s time for my second plan. (Craven’s thorne)

In Craven’s head: You found a way to save your people, I see. No matter how powerful you are, you won’t be able to defeat me, heiress. I’ve been waiting for this for a very long time, planning for this for a very long time and you think you can defeat me? You have not the slightest idea how much I’ve sacrificed for this. You don’t know what’s awaiting you, heiress. I’ll be prepared for you and when you come…may death embrace you and merciful ways. (Craven laughs - back at the safe place)

Amara: “Diavolo. I want you to take me to The Seyah.”

In Ryan’s head: Oh fuck.
