The next morning in Amara’s bed

In Ryan’s head: I could get used to this. God she’s so fucking perfect. I should leave before she wakes up.

Amara: “I know you’re here.”

Ryan: “How?”

In Amara’s head: Because I slept so peacefully.

Amara: “You can stay awhile if you want.”

In Ryan’s head: Here comes the little demon.

Rico: “Good morning, angel. What are you doing here uncle Dia?”

Ryan: “Is this how you’re going to greet your favorite uncle now?”

Rico: “Did you sleep with my angel?”

Ryan: “Yes…I did.”

Rico: “You can’t sleep with her. The only person who can sleep next to her is me. She’s my angel. Go find yourself another angel.”

Ryan: “Sorry to disappoint you but she’s mine and I’m not gonna share her with you.”

Rico: “I’ll fight you, uncle Dia.”

Ryan: “We’ll fight when you get older but right now I’m not gonna bring you any more chocolates, how about that?”

Amara: “Seriously, you’re gonna make him cry.”

Rico: “I’m not gonna cry angel, I can sacrifice my chocolates for you.”

Amara: “Don’t worry, your uncle is gonna bring you your favorite chocolates everyday or else he won’t be getting any kisses.”

Rico: “He gets kisses!”

Ryan: “Yes.”

Rico: “I also want kisses.”

Amara: “Here.”

Rico: “Don’t be jelly jelly uncle Dia.”

Amara: “Come on, get ready. We have training to do.”

Ryan: “Where’s my kiss? I can sacrifice the whole world for you.”

Amara: “We’ll talk when it’s done. (at the training spot). You’re doing great, kiddo. Now show me how you’re gonna kick the evil people. (the water turns red). What the…no, he’ll start panicking if he sees that. (Amara hugs Rico)”

Rico: “What happened, angel?”

Amara: “We're done for today, let’s go home. Did you hear that?”

Rico: “Coming from that way. (a hurt wolf and two guys laugh)”

Amara: “Hey, leave it alone.”

Ray: “We’ll leave it alone if you agree to entertain us instead.”

Jack: “Yeah, we’ll let the pup go.”

Amara: “You know, turn around and cover your ears. I know how much you love to sing, now is your chance. Sing your favorite song as loud as you can. You have an audience after all. I’ll make you your favorite cupcakes when we get back home. Now…make sure you enjoy yourself because I like it rough. (fighting). Let’s go kiddo, they liked your performance, they were speechless. they probably won’t be able to speak for days.”

Rico: “Really? Oh, he’s bleeding.”

Amara: “Yeah, let’s go home and see what we can do for him. (in the living room)”

Ryan: “Amara?!”

Amara: “It’s not my blood. We found him near our spot, two men were hurting him.”

Luca’s Mindlink “Alpha, it’s a wolf.”

Ryan’s Mindlink: “He’s so small, he must’ve had a force shift.”

Amara: “Go to your room Rico and get changed.”

Ryan: “What is it?”

Amara: “There was blood in the water.”

Ryan: “Where?”

Amara: “Where we train.”

Ryan: “You go clean yourself, give me the pup. I’ll take him to Enric. Luca, go get Ren and check the training spot, it’s in the north. Report to me if you find anything unusual.”

Luca: “Of course. (later at the pack hospital)”

Enric: “He’s weak and has some injuries but he will heal soon.”

Ryan: “What do you think his age is?”

Enric: “He’s so small, he shouldn’t be in his wolf form, he must be eleven. Something caused him to shift at this age, something horrifying.”

Ryan: “How will he shift back? He’s not from our pack, I can’t command him to shift back, he’s so small.”

Enric: “We’ll have to wait for his recovery.”

Ryan: “I can’t wait, something’s wrong. Amara saw blood in the river water and found an injured pup who’s not from here. He needs to heal fast and tell me everything he knows. Give him my blood, it’ll heal him and call Willow. She’s good at training the pups, she’ll help him shift back. (the training spot)”

Renato: “We have to tell alpha. (Ryan’s office). Amara’s right, there’s blood but we're not sure where it’s coming from.”

Ryan: “I guess we have to wait for that pup to shift back. For some reason I feel he has the answers. (two days later pack hospital). Where is he?”

Enric: “This way. He’s scared and confused. Don’t let Azrael take over, he’ll be terrified and won’t be able to tell you anything.”

Ryan: “Don’t worry, Azrael doesn’t see him as any threat, he won’t try to take control. (in the hospital room). No need to be scared, kid. You’re safe here.”

Arnold: “You’re an alpha.”

Ryan: “Yes, alpha of The Bloodwalker Pack.”

Arnold: “Bloodwalker pack. Please don’t kill me. I’ll leave your territory right now.”

Ryan: “I’ve never harmed any kid in my whole life. You have nothing to be scared of.”

Arnold: “My mom’s told me about this pack, people call you the devil.”

Ryan: “Yes, I’m the devil but only to my enemies. You’re under my protection. No one can lay a finger on you now. So don’t be scared and tell me which pack you’re from.”

Arnold: “Moonstone Pack.”

Ryan: “Is the pack in Austria?”

Arnold: “Yes alpha.”

Ryan: “Then what are you doing here alone? And how did you shift at such a young age? Willow, come in here.”

Willow: “It’s okay, sweetheart. Tell him everything. He’s here to help, you can trust him. We’re all here to help you and protect you, I promise.”

Arnold: “A week ago our pack was attacked by vampires and werewolves. they were killing us, my mom’s tried to protect me. They sent me to a secret tunnel, people were screaming. Their screams made me shift, then I kept running. I don’t remember much of what happened after that. I don’t know if my mom’s are okay or not.”

Willow: “It’s okay, everything will be okay. (in the hallway)”

Ryan: “I was right, his pack was attacked. The Moonstone Pack.”

Renato: “Attacked by who?”

Ryan: “He said by an army of vampires and werewolves. We know who they are. We need to go there and see for ourselves what happened. (later in the kitchen)”

Amara: “Where’s Diavolo?”

Aria: “Aww…missing him already? He’ll be back in two days but why are you asking as if…oh you don’t know? Don’t tell me he forgot to tell you.”

Amara: “Tell me what?”

Aria: “He has to go out for business for two to three days.”

Silvia: “He didn’t tell you? Everybody knows. Then again, I guess you’re not important to him and that’s why he didn’t bother to tell you. (Amara walks away - meanwhile the car)”

Ryan: “Fuck.”

Luca: “What’s wrong?”

Ryan: “I forgot to tell Amara about this little trip.”

Luca: “You’re screwed but text or call her. Please tell me at least you have her number.”

Ryan: “I asked her for her number but she said she has my number so I didn’t ask.”

Renato: “Weird…I never saw her using her phone.”

Luca: “Neither have I.”

Ryan: “I didn’t see any phone in her room. Maybe she doesn’t use a phone.”

Luca: “Who doesn’t use a phone? Humans can’t go an hour without using their phones. What are the chances she’s an ancient vampire who recently woke up from her sleep? That’s why she doesn’t know how to use a phone.”

Ryan: “Luca, shut up. If she were a vampire, I would’ve known. Everybody would’ve known, we can smell them from miles away.”

Luca: “True story. (Ryan answers his phone)”

Ryan: “Aria, is everything okay?”

Aria: “You tell me.”

Ryan: “Can you tell Amara that I’ll be out for two days?”

Aria: “Too late, she already knows now. Silvia doesn’t leave any opportunity to add fuel to the fucking fire.”

Ryan: “That bitch. Was Amara upset?”

Aria: “Upset? Her expressions were neutral. I can’t decide what’s more scary. When she shows anger or when she doesn’t show any emotions at all. Try to be back soon.”

Ryan: “Fuck my life.”

Luca: “Now what?”

Ryan: “Silvia…that’s what.”

Luca: “What did she do now?”

Ryan: “I warned her to stay far away from Amara but she isn’t listening. If it doesn’t stop then Walter and I will have a problem because I’ll kill his sister.”

Renato: “I’m not complaining, I don’t like her anyway and she isn’t one of us, even her wolf doesn’t like me. (the next day in the car). We’re about to reach there.”

Ryan: “Mhm. (two hours later in the woods). Is anyone alive?”

Luca: “No alpha, they’re just rotting dead bodies here.”

Ryan: “Let’s go to the nearby pack and see if they know.”

Pack Member: “Stop you can’t enter our territory. Diavolo…”

Ryan: “That’s me. Take me to your alpha, I wanna talk to him.”

Josiah: “Welcome to The Shadow Pack Diavolo. Your unannounced arrival surprised me, may I ask the reason? I hope we are on good terms.”

Ryan: “I came to see what happened to the Moonstone Pack. I’m sure you’re aware.”

Josiah: “Everyone is aware of that now. Not just them, a group of rogue wolves were also attacked and killed two days ago on neutral ground in Italy.”

In Ryan’s head: The blood we saw must be theirs.

Ryan: “Who attacked them?”

Josiah: “The Legion but you already know that.”

Ryan: “I know but why did they attack them? Usually they attack small packs and The Moonstone Pack was quite big.”

Josiah: “We all know The Legion doesn’t need any reason to kill people.”

Ryan: “We came from there, we found rotting bodies of wolves but there wasn’t a single she-wolf’s body. I came to see if anyone escaped and looked for a refuge here.”

Josiah: “No one came here and they must've kidnapped all the she-wolves. This is getting worse, they;re unstoppable. We’re living in fear that’s why I’ve decided to move my pack somewhere else. God forbid but their next target could be my pack.”
