I was ready to take these men out. They terrorized me every day. It was their time to be prey. I watched the men look around, never looking in the trees.

Idiots!

There was a man in front of the other two. He was far enough away as if he didn’t want to be seen with the other men. He kept grumbling about idiot drug runners and good for nothing men.

I wanted to laugh at his assessment of his other two partners. He wasn’t wrong. It was why I called them Mutt and Jeff. I watched until the two idiots were in front of Matheus and I. We both jumped out of the trees quietly and wrapped out hands over the men's mouth, slashing their throats and dragging them out of the man made path. We covered them with dead leaves and I sprayed some of the old scent masking spray I had. I was holding my nose so I didn’t mess up my whiffer. The stuff was rank. We quickly jumped back into the trees to follow the other man who had walked off.

We followed the man until he met up with two more men. These men were a little more aware of their surroundings, looking around and up in the trees. We ran quietly. We wanted in front of the men, so we could listen to them talk and got behind them. They kept looking up into the trees. So, we decided to get out of the trees and burrow in the dead foliage and dirt a few hundred feet to the side of the path.

I could hear the men talking about me and what they were going to do to me. It was sickening. I blamed the monster for making his men as depraved as he was. Although these men were already sick before they got to the monster. It was the only men he wanted to work with him.

Sick bastards.

I slowly took deep breaths and let them out, clearing my head of my thoughts. I didn’t want to be noticed until I wanted to be noticed. And, I would be noticed. It was a given. These men made my life hell, lying to the monster about something I didn’t do. The monster made sure to punish me every time. He didn’t ask questions or even hear my side of the story. I was going to have fun with these men.

We noticed three men walk past us. We listened for the other two but didn’t hear them. We were wondering if they had split off from the group. That was until the idiots stepped on us. The idiots thought they had found a soft place to sit and smoke. We counted to three and popped up, stabbing the men in the heart and cutting their throats. They never knew what hit them.

We dragged them into the forest, spraying the scent masking spray all over them and covering them with leaves and limbs. As we were about to walk out of the trees we were behind another idiot had his back to us peeing.

I recognized the idiot. Oh, what fun I was going to have with this one. I motioned to Matheus to keep an eye out for tangos and I turned, stalking up to the second in command. He never noticed me. I couldn’t believe he couldn’t hear us. It’s why I asked Matheus to keep an eye out. I was worried about an ambush.

I got behind him as he was shaking his dick, getting ready to zip up. I grabbed his head covering his mouth. I slit his throat and laid him down quietly, still holding his mouth. I wasn’t finished with this bastard.

Not by a long shot.

I stabbed the fucker in the heart and watched the life drain out of his eyes. As soon as he was dead I made sure to castrate him and then cover him with the dead foliage after I sprayed his body down. I wanted to dance on his dead body. If it made me seem psycho, good. This fucker couldn’t keep his hands off of me. I shuddered and walked over to Matheus.

“You good, Selina?” Matheus asked, looking me in the eyes.

“Yes.” I pointed at the body. “That was the second in command. I was supposed to marry him. He couldn’t keep his hands off me no matter I did,” I whispered.

Matheus gave me a hug, motioning for us to move. We moved to the trees, sitting still and waiting to see who would die next. We didn’t have long to wait. One more idiot came in to view. He stopped and leaned onto the tree we were in.

I shook my head at the idiot. I noticed there was a sturdy limb right above him and I made a plan. I looked at Matheus, pointing at my eye and pointing at the idiot. He nodded his head and motioned for me to go.

I slinked down the tree until I got to the limb above him. I turned upside down, holding myself in position. The idiot was smoking and playing on his phone. I released my upper body from the crunch I was in, stabbing him in the chest and dropping down in front of him. I dragged him away, making sure his cigarette was out. I buried him and took his phone crushing it into small pieces. I didn’t want his phone to be tracked.

I jumped back onto the limb I was once on, flipping myself back on top of it. I climbed quietly up the tree until I was next to Matheus.

“Next one’s mine,” informed Matheus. I nodded as he kissed my forehead. “What’s your jaguar’s name?”

“Huh?’” I stupidly asked.

“Have you talked to your jaguar? She should have told you her name.”

“I’ve never asked,” I said quietly, embarrassed because I didn’t know. But, I was never taught that jaguars had names. I didn’t think we could communicate with them.

He nodded his head as I hesitantly asked my jaguar her name. I didn’t expect an answer since I had never heard her say anything before.

Hi, about damn time you asked. My name is Rawr, like the sound only spelt differently,” Rawr cheekily said.

“Her names Rawr but not spelled like roar. She’s also a little cheeky. I like her.” I smiled at Matheus. I was glad he taught me something I didn’t know.

He nodded his head. We both heard a sound, alerting us to danger. We moved to cover in the highest part of the trees, looking around to see if we missed someone. We didn’t see anyone or smell anyone. It was as if they were a ghost.
