“Mr. Robert, what happened was dangerous. If I arrived very late, the car would have left, and things would have been terrible!” Charles couldn’t help but add to him. “The girl’s head was hit. It even started bleeding. If it were another girl, she would have been terrified. She even captured a gangster.” 

Robert maintained a cold demeanor. Meanwhile, Charles understood that the best thing to do was to shut up. It seemed that what happened to Mrs. Fischer didn’t affect him. 

“Have they caught the person who kidnapped her?” Robert asked. 

Charles was taken aback by Robert’s question, momentarily unable to react. Once he regained his composure, he quickly informed Robert, “They’ve been caught and taken to the police station 

“Call the police station and make sure they know what to do,” Robert said coldly, his tone leaving no room for refusal. 

Charles breathed a sigh of relief. 

“Now, you may leave,” Robert said. 

Without saying anything else, they both left the room. It made Robert left alone, who had lost all sleepiness. 

He also did a lot for Elisa, helping to suppress news that was unfavorable to her, and even saving her life. Robert felt that he and Elisa were now even. They had no emotional connection before, so he had planned to wake up today and end his marriage with Elisa.

Marie’s face contorted. 

“What kidnapping? What are you talking about! Do you have any evidence?” she was about to argue when the two officers grabbed her shoulders. 

“How dar 

you! I know your boss! I’ll file a complaint against you!” Marie screamed frantically, like a 

madwoman.

Although Marie had done many illegal things, she had never been confirmed to be arrested before, relying

“Mrs. Barson, the police are downstairs and want to speak with you,” The maid replied, her boss’s face changing slightly. Right afterward, she changed clothes, thinking about why the police were in her house. 

Did Elisa come back home and report her? It wasn’t possible. Everyone knew that Marie was an expert at cleaning up the mess, and with that, her men would be able to fulfill what she ordered them to do, right? At this moment, Elisabeth should have been killed, and she would have had a better life. 

Suelen’s seemed a bit proud. She waited for the man she hired and wanted to send the second video, but nothing happened. 

Jorge, naked, appeared somewhat displeased, but Suelen gestured for him to lie down and wait for her to 

return. 

“What happened?” He asked Suelen. 

“Everything will be fine, so go back to sleep. I’ll deal with this first,” She replied. 

Upon hearing Suelen’s words, Jorge didn’t think much of it. He simply got up, put on his clothes, and lay back down again. 

Less than five minutes later, his daughter burst into the room, calling him. 

“Daddy! Mommy has been taken away! The police said she is suspected of kidnapping and intentionally hurting other people. She will be taken to the police station!” Olivia said, but Jorge rushed downstairs without shoes to understand what had happened. 

Suelen was being taken away. However, despite secretly being proud of herself lately, she felt nervous and scared. 

“Wait a minute! “Jorge shouted, reverberating around. 

“Darling, please, save me! I’m only accused. This ain’t true!” Suelen reasoned and immediately ran towards Jorge with anxiety in her eyes. 

“What’s going on here? If you want to arrest her, where is your evidence?” Jorge asked and was mixed up. 

“Mr. Barson, your wife is just a suspect now and needs to cooperate with our investigation. When the investigation is clear, and we are sure she has nothing to do with this case, she will return home no later than tomorrow.” The investigator explained. “But if she is the mastermind behind this, she will face legal and criminal responsibilities. She can’t escape it.” 

“Darling, I didn’t do any of this. It’s a false accusation. I don’t even know what’s happening. They’re saying that I kidnapped Elisa!” She explained her side, grabbing her husband’s clothes, trembling in fear of what they had against her. 

With those accusations, although half of them were false, the other half of them were also true. How did things come to light? 

How was that poor woman making so much noise? After all, should a few of them be enough to deal with her?

“Mr. Barson, your daughter Elisa was kidnapped by some gangsters on the road next to the hospital today and was seriously injured.”
