Chapter 1266

Jeremy was caught off guard by her question, he tripped over the steps, and his handsome face almost kissed the ground.

He turned around, amused, and said, “You made me jump!”

Ashlynn had no other choice but to follow him to the guest room.

The servant helped her to apply the medication to her wounds on the back.

Jeremy was striding back and forth on the corridor, frustrated. Why did Ashlynn have a blood-red crescent-shaped mark on her back?

He remembered that his sister also had a blood-red crescent mark on her back, and Beth told him about it.

She had always said as long as there was a blood-red crescent birthmark on the back, that would be his blood sister.

Now, Ashlynn had it... Could it be a coincidence?

However, this kind of birthmark was rare.

This time, Beth and her husband were all still outside.

Jeremy could not wait any longer.

He went out hastily, straight to the Hilton family’s office.

He went straight into Beth's office door.

Beth was in a meeting and was not pleased to see Jeremy barraging in. “Where are your manners... Ah!”

Before she could finish her sentence, Jeremy had already pulled her hair. She frowned in pain. “Jeremy, what are you doing!”

Jeremy looked at the four strands of hair in his palm, then said guiltily, “Mom, I'm sorry, I pulled too much more than what I need. Please continue. I'm out of here.” Then, he snuck out again.

Beth was speechless toward her son's behavior. He was talented, but he was always so playful.

She did not take that seriously and carried on with her meeting.

It was late, and Ashlynn was already in bed, trying to sleep.

She felt much better after being applied with the mediation, and the swells were already subsided. She placed her phone on the nightstand, and it was quiet.

No matter how difficult it was for her, she never called Corentin.

She knew that Corentin was waiting for her to call him, to beg him for mercy.

However, she knew it even better that pleading with him would only feed his perverted mentality, and he would never bring her out of here...

Just when she was almost falling asleep, her room was banged open.

Meredith walked into the room, straight to Ashlynn’s bed.

Aunt Cher was behind her, looking at her so menacingly as though she had done something disastrous.

Meredith said, condescending, “Get the f*ck out of here! You filthy servant does not deserve to sleep in a guest's room!”

Ashlynn knew that this would happen. She got up and put on her shoes.

Meredith told Aunt Cher, “Throw all the sheets out! They stink now!"

Aunt Cher immediately instructed other servants and said, “Quick, throw them into the trash, don’t pollute Ms. Hilton's esophagus!”

Jeremy walked in, and he pulled Ashlynn, who was about to leave. “I dare you to throw them away!” Meredith was annoyed. “Jeremy, I heard that you allowed her to sleep in the guest room. Are you crazy? She came from the slums. How could she sleep in the guest room?”

“She is still a human.” Jeremy was not budged.

Ashlynn could not help but take one more look at Jeremy, no one that said something like that to her before.
