Chapter 1198

At the moment, Kathryn studied Anne for a few minutes and realized how quiet Anne was.

Her heart sank as she recognized that this was the way Anne was isolating herself from the world, as that would only mean that Anthony would continue to lock her in this apartment.

In the afternoon, Anne went for a nap and woke up to find that her refrigerator had been stuffed with groceries.

She concluded that someone had delivered the grocery when she was sleeping in the room, but she did not know who delivered it.

There were only a limited number of people who had access to the apartment, as far as she recalled, there had been four apart from her, Anthony, Kathryn, Bianca and Oliver.

She closed the refrigerator door expressionlessly, before walking over to the balcony. She stood by the fences and glanced to the side at the apartment her father bought for her.

Tears welled in her eyes as sorrow overwhelmed her.

It's a good thing that I accepted it, she thought, "if I turned him down at the time, I would regret it so much...!

Anne took a deep breath to suppress her tears.

The reality was far too cruel. Her father had given his life with Bianca, yet was murdered by Bianca in the end.

The pain in Anne's chest was far worse than the injury she suffered on her face.

“How can I not resent them? Why should I have to admit that I was wrong, when I haven't done anything wrong?!

She was far too drained to argue or protest, and decided to give up in the end.

Throughout the three days that she was locked in the apartment, Anthony had not appeared at all. She did not have her phone, but there was an active landline in the living room, but Anne simply ignored it and had not touched it since she entered the apartment.

Bianca was overjoyed that Anne had not returned to the Royal Mansion for three days in a row. She headed to the Archduke Group and hurried over when she spotted

Anthony's Rolls Loyce. She walked closer when Anthony came out of the building and said, “Anthony, are you going back to the Royal Mansion?”

Anthony stilled for a moment, before glancing at her expressionlessly.

“My car is broken and they are fixing it. I took a taxi here, so can you give me a lift?" Bianca asked gently. Not wanting Anthony to refuse, she added, “I used to travel in your car all the time in the past, remember?”

He shot her a cold look and went into the car, but left the door open behind him.

Realizing that was her cue to get inside, she followed him into the car cheerfully.

The Rolls Loyce drove out of the Archduke Group and onto the highway.

“I just need a ride to the apartment I lived in before. You've been there before,” Bianca said with a sheepish smile. “Anthony, I thought that you were still mad at me and I didn't really expect you to let me into the car. I've been reflecting on myself, and I keep thinking back to how things were, especially when I am playing the piano...”

“That's what you came all the way to say?" He stared at her coldly.

She choked on her voice, feeling as though none of the things that she said mattered to him. "...Anthony, are you in a bad mood?” Bianca asked. “Did Anne did something? She's stubborn like that. Don't take it personally...”
