Chapter 1194

Anne woke up alone and struggled to sit down. She remained dazed for a while and when all the memories came rushing back to her, tears welled in her eyes.

“What should I do? I can't keep living like this. Anthony is going to get me killed at some point..." She thought.

She lifted the blanket to get out of bed, but collapsed onto the ground as soon as her feet touched the ground. “Ugh...”

The strength she lost had not recovered from the few hours of sleep and every muscle in her body was trembling.

She sat on the ground to gather her strength when a shadow loomed over her.

A pair of black slippers appeared before her eyes and without looking up, she knew that they belonged to the man she feared most.

He lifted her off the ground and set her down onto the bed.

Anne frantically grabbed onto the blanket to cover her body, leaving only her legs and head out in the air pathetically, her grip on the blanket was so strong that her fingers were turning pale and her hands were shaking.

When he tried to place her robe over her shoulder, she jolted and backed away as she cried out hoarsely, “Don’t touch me. Don't touch...”

His expression darkened. “Do you know what you are saying?”

Anne was clueless. All she knew was that she could not let Anthony touch her.

“This is so scary,’ she thought, “he is so scary..."

Anthony sat down by the bed and placed the robe over her shoulder as he suppressed the irritation within him.

“Ah!” She shouted in a hoarse voice.

His expression darkened at her reaction. He tossed the robe away and tore the blanket off her body. “Ah!” She curled up in the bed with her arms around her knees, desperately hoping that she could disappear.

He forced her chin up and gritted out, “I don't want to hear you say “no’ again!”

She looked into his eyes blankly, but her voice remained determined, “Anthony

Marwood, I hate you. I hate you. I will never forgive you for what you've done to me..."

His hand on her jaw trembled as every cell in his body longed to lose control.

Anne dug her nails into her own arm. She knew that she was provoking Anthony, but could not help with the fear that took over her every time he got closer.

Just as the tension in the room was about to reach its peak, he let go of her and stood to stare down at her emotionlessly, the pressure of his overpowering pressure crushing down on her body and heart.

Mia and Fiona went upstairs and heard a shout. They hurried over and saw Anthony dragging Anne out of the room. The two immediately bowed their heads and stood by the wall.

"Anthony Marwood, let me go! I'm not leaving. I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying right here...” Anne was fully dressed by then and was in tears, but she could not seem to shake Anthony's hand off of her, as she was hardly his match.

He dragged her over to the stairs with ease and started to walk down.
