Chapter 6

-Gale’s POV -

Poor boy can’t handle his mate yet.

I sensed something weird, the moment I came out. A strong mist of magic that seems to be connected to the curse I’m currently under.

“Kelly, you’re the castor, aren’t you,” I said dryly.

“W-what are you talking about,” She stuttered.

“You are the one who cast a curse onto me,” I stated. I started feeling bad since she paled so horribly. “You have been with me since young hence you are able to monitor my movement.”

“Since you haven’t aged, you have probably swapped part of my life to maintain your youthfulness at the aged of 18.” She was stunned and started to cry while clinging onto Alex, looking at him for help expectantly.

“Nathan, I think there might be some misunderstanding.” Alex piped in, with a concerned look on his face. I can feel Nathan’s confusion and it was as if he was trying to fire out many questions.

Well then, I’ll get this over and done with, I thought into my head. Muttering a few ancient words using the knowledge kept deep within my soul, a white string of light connecting me and Kelly was revealed. Wasting no time at all, I brought my hand down and severed the link like I was slashing tofu.

Almost instantly, Kelly screamed as she visibly grew older over the second. We stared at her in shock, a woman probably aged 50 kneeled in front of us.

Woah, this is pretty extreme for an age deterioration.

“How dare you,” She screeched, pointing at me with her now decaying fingernails with a death glare. “Give me back my youth. GIVE IT BACK!”

I refused to acknowledge the storm of emotions coming from Nathan, not knowing what else to say. I glanced to the side, Alex looks shocked, betrayed, anger and many other emotions.

Not even taking another look at her, I grabbed my mate’s hand and walked to the toilet in the basement. I have no idea why he builds a toilet there but it’s not really my problem. I lifted the doormat and touched the seal. My gadget popped out from the ground, and I picked it up.

“You’re not Nathan am I right.” My mate stated. Oh, he’s smart. That’s surprising but I like my lover a bit intelligent.

“You’re right, my name is Gale, your mate’s wolf.” I introduced while bowing dramatically.

“Why are you here and not my mate?” He asked questioningly. I sighed, not really wanting to tell him the entire reason. I just shrugged it off as he’s afraid of everyone knowing what he has been through.

I pity my carrier; he’s going to have a tough life ahead. But before I could take another step forward, the burden from taking over control and using magic caused me to fall into darkness

- Nathan’s POV -

I laid on the bed, listening to the crickets chirping away in the distance. It was a few hours past midnight and Gale is asleep while I’m trying to sort out my feelings. I don’t know what to do anymore. I just lost a close friend, betrayed by a person I trust, and then there is Terui. After speaking with Gale, it was quite clear to me that he was my mate but I’m not sure if I can even trust myself to trust him after what had happened ten years ago. I closed my eyes and forced myself to rest. After all, I have a feeling that it will be quite a day tomorrow...

(A few hours ahead)

The bed dipped beside me as a pair of huge hands wrapped around my body. No, there are no sparks flying about, wouldn’t that be rather weird. But the feeling of the arms is very warm and comfy though. I felt myself blushing at the intimacy but not that daring to open my eyes, maybe I should get a dog... or a cat... or both... sorry, wrong thoughts.

“When are you going to stop ignoring me?” a deep rough voice spoke behind my ear, a little bit of teasing could be detected. I shrieked and jerked my body a little within the confines. He gave a low moan as I felt his hard-on near my butt.

“I...I’m not ig..ignoring...” I stuttered as I wriggled around a bit, desperately trying to get my ass out of the way but it seems that it was having an opposite effect from the way that Terui was moaning.

“You should really stop unless you want me to take you here and now.” Terui teased, though his tone held a serious hint to it. My body froze by itself as a memory surfaced into my head.

(Flashback)

“I’m going to take you, pretty boy.” A cold voice said to me as I laid trembling on the cold marbled floor.

“No, please, no.” I whimpered helplessly and I struggled against the cuffs that bind me to the floor. He punched me in my stomach, making me choke on my own saliva. I coughed hard as he lifted my legs, not sparing a second before...

“Nathan!!” Terui shouted, bringing me back to my senses. I panted heavily as I force cleared my mind. His face reflects that of worry. I gave him a small smile as I remain rested on the pillow, too drained to do anything anymore.

I’m afraid of myself, I don’t even know what I am right now. First, I was labeled as useless and then suddenly I’m like a powerful being that I have no idea of.

So how are you feeling? You do know that you can’t hide from your mate forever, right? Gale spoke in my head. I know but I can’t bring myself to tell him.

Gale sighed and stayed silent in my head. I could feel it, the slight breeze that is constantly around me is a show of his power.

“So... are you getting out of bed anytime soon?” Terui questioned. I breathed in deeply and nodded my head. He helped me out of bed, and we walked to the dining room. Outside the dining room, I could hear the bustling of forks and knives along with the people talking. I could myself panicking on the inside. I may be in a different pack but there is still the fact that the white wolves are relatively weaker in terms of physique and if anyone searched for my background information, it is possible that they will be disgusted about me.

When the door opens, I couldn’t help myself but hide behind Terui, I could hear him chuckle as I buried myself behind his back. There was absolutely no movement, The loud sound that was coming out had ceased.
