Chapter 10

(Jennifer’s POV)

The only thing I could see everywhere was darkness. Obviously it would be dark as my eyes were closed. Opening my eyes the very first thing that came in my vision was........ light. A lot of light which was a very high dosage for me. After taking some time to adjust my vision I found myself at a very luxurious place, too luxurious for my liking. And that’s when it all came in, all those memories.

Oh, so I was alive because of them, which also means that they had discovered the antidote for the virus. But with those memories came the memory of him rejecting me. He didn’t need me just like everyone. It was okay I was used to being kicked away.

Looking around I found myself inside an unknown room. The only thing the room screamed was ‘money’ in my face and I definitely wasn’t used to it. I had to be out of here. I don’t know how, but somehow my extremely intelligent brain was able to remove me out of that place.

(Victor’s POV)

Just like everyday here we were, working our asses off. Being a Beta King was never easy. Our work for today was almost done. Packing up Daniel and I got ready to depart. His every day’s routine was to visit our Luna. Luna? Yes we call her our Luna. Why? Because she made a huge space in our hearts just by proving us that she is not one of those filthy humans. Eventhough she was about to be rejected by Daniel, she still decided to save his life.

Her bravery was much bigger than her fear. How? She didn’t think twice just to save the king of the enemy race. Eventhough the humans lived under our rules they still kept an enemity towards us. But our Luna wasn’t one of them and that was the reason why she had already received a space in every werewolf’s heart.

Noting on everyday’s conditions, she was healing very fast too. All of us were very excited to meet her, but also a little anxious about what Daniel was going to do. As we reached the doors, they were opened by the soldiers for our entries.

Entering in we were shocked to see an empty bed. Not only the bed but also the whole room felt empty. Even her presence made the room to be lively. All her belongings were gone. Looking around we found a note stuck on the table beside the bed.

Thank You everyone for letting my almighty presence to be kept here. Thank You for saving me (Eventhough you should be the one thanking me anyways.) It has been a long time since me showing my kindness by staying with you guys and other’s are in great need of it so I would be taking my leave. My best wishes will always be there with you. It left us both speechless. Like no words to even utter. She really was unpredictable. But as I looked towards Daniel I would only see 2 emotions in his eyes. Anger, betrayal and I guess I saw hurt too but he would never accept it. Whatever happens but one thing was for sure-------

This girl was something else.
