“Stop all her work except for the SL Series and investigate her entire resume,” Kendrick ordered, tossing the photo into the trash can beside him. 

Sophia was different from Samantha; he couldn’t take her lightly. 

“Should I investigate the child in the photo and Francis as well?” Jude inquired. 

“No, only Sophia is necessary,” Kendrick replied, visibly annoyed. 

Francis didn’t scare him. He knew that someone driven by wealth like Francis wouldn’t do anything foolish. 

If Sophia wasn’t Samantha, she could be someone sent by Francis. The possibility of Conrad and Francis working together to send Sophia as a spy couldn’t be ruled out. 

She was a ticking time bomb. 

If she turned out to be Samantha, Kendrick would stop at nothing to keep her at his side, just like Samantha had bound him with a marriage contract years ago. 

Meanwhile, Linda, who had been waiting outside Kendrick’s office for overtime, overheard everything. 

“A married woman flaunting herself. What a slut!” 

Linda clutched the documents tightly. She seethed with resentment at the thought of her brother being stolen by this woman with a child. 

Francis was an unknown name to her. Samantha enjoyed a delicious meal with

“It’s working hours,” Linda insisted. 

“I don’t want to quit because of stomach problems.” Samantha looked at Kendrick and flashed a perfectly rehearsed smile. 

In reality, she could skip breakfast. She was just curious to test Kendrick’s patience. 

At the time, it was Kendrick who kept challenging Samantha’s boundaries. 

Kendrick looked at Samantha.
