My Vampire Queen
Chapter Thirty-Four

“She kidnapped you two,” I said turning to the Queens. I had made them sit on the couch so Bjorn and I could sit on the other couch. Vinny had taken Rue to the kitchen, she had wanted to go to help Caine with the food, I didn’t want her to be alone. “Did either of you have Blood beforehand?”

Both shake their heads. The one I believe to be Silvia explains. “Elizabeth grabbed us both at different times, but in the same situation. We were grabbed on our travels to America to figure out which Queen’s court we were going to be a part of.”

“We aren’t powerful enough to call Blood on our own.” Sarah says in that mousy voice, it’s almost like a whisper. “If we bond to a powerful Queen we may be able to call a Blood or two.”

Silvia shakes her head. “Maybe.”

That made Sarah’s face fall. She was clearly hopeful for Blood of her own and I felt bad for her. I couldn’t imagine going through this world without my Blood... Thinking of Blood I look over to the new one. She had removed her leather jacket, tossing it aside with her helmet. She’s kneeling on the floor, hands in her lap until she sees me looking at her. She moves forward smoothly on her knees brown eyes never straying from my face. This Blood is beyond a beautiful woman, she’s all sex appeal with a little edge of danger.

“Katrina Drozdov.” She said stopping just in front of me, a slow smile playing on her lips as she looks up at me through her lashes. “I go by Kat.”

I should be a little more sensitive to the two Queens sitting in front of me, but I couldn’t seem to give a fuck right now. Kat is.. sinful. Her hair is pitch black and wild held back in a braid with some baby hairs around her face that are poking out in different directions. Long thin nose and thick lashes that she looks through, fluttering at me.

“Luna Tyet,” I said. Her eyes get a little wider before a full smile hits her face.

“It would be an honor to serve a Tyet.” Her voice is breathy and low, it reminds me almost of a purr.

“The last Tyet.” I tell her, I reach out to lightly touch her chin with the tips of my fingers. Her skin is as pale as mine. “I’m also a Morningstar.”

“I have never heard of that line,” Kat said and I nod.

“It will be a new line, one that runs with Tyet from now.” I was a daughter of a God and Goddess, they both deserved the respect.

There’s a howl from Tank in the distance. “A Queen with a werewolf as a Blood is.. intriguing.” Kat said then throws a glance over to where Jaxon and Marcus sat. They had been sitting in silence, processing everything they’ve seen I’d guess. “And humans.”

“None of them are bonded to me.” I tell her pulling my hand back, but I lean forward to catch her attention. “I could take them as Blood, it is in my power. I won’t though. It is their decision if they want to be bonded as my Blood and I’ll give them time to think about it.”

Kat looks at me curiously, dropping the sexual gaze for a moment. “Do you let all of your Blood do that? Question if they want to bond with you?”

“Yes,” I said bluntly. “I try to give them time, let them meet me, and give them the choice if they want to be my Blood.”

Kat’s eyes seem to sparkle as she reaches up, putting her hands on my knees. She pushes up so her face is so close to mine. “I would be honored.”

Her head tilts to the side, barring her neck to me. Seeing her long slender neck I feel my teeth ache, running my tongue over them I feel my fangs. Six teeth in total are sharpened, two on the bottom and four on top. My hand goes around to the back of her head, supporting it as I move forward and bite her gently. After draining Elizabeth it seems I can control myself, instead of attacking Kat I’m able to just take a few swallows from her before pulling away. She gives me a lazy smile as I pull from her and offer her my wrist. Kat’s tongue runs over my wrist before she places a kiss just above my vein and her fangs sink into my wrist.

Kat only gets to swallow twice before she pulls away, falling back onto her butt she looks drunk as she scoots away. “Wow.”

That’s all she says before she leans her head back onto the couch next to Bjorn. Nathan enters the room, I don’t need to see him to know how close he was. It’s a little weird to be able to justknowwhere all my Blood is, even Kat who is just forming the bond I can feel. Turning to the Queens I consider them, I couldn’t tell my new Blood that they had a choice and then not give them one. These Queens didn’t have any Blood, they were not safe to be on their own but I didn’t want to force them into my nest. I would be a hypocrite if I forced them. Then there is the fact of Rue. I’d fight for her to be where she wants to be, whether with me or with a pack like Keith and Laura. I could see if she wanted to be with me being a problem. A young shifter with an Amina Queen, it’s not done from what I understand. But I can’t just dump her somewhere, I felt responsible for her and I wasn’t going to make her uncomfortable. I’d give her time to figure out what she wants, consequences be damned.

“What are you think about my Queen?” Bjorn asks leaning to speak softly into my ear.

“I am thinking about a lot of things. There is much to do and much to consider.” I said it watching the two Queens in front of me. One squirms but doesn’t look away and the other raises her head high. Maybe they would be okay after this, maybe if they stayed with me I could be their friend.

Maybe we could all be okay.
