Chapter 445 We Still Have a Long Time

Evie nodded. "I'll block him right away."

"Mrs. Timberlake, are you planning to marry me in secret?" Aron asked seriously.

Evie shook her head.

She never thought about a hidden marriage.

"That's good." Aron stretched out his hand, took the phone from Evie, and answered it.

Caspian's hoarse voice came from the phone. "Evie..."

Aron didn't wait for Caspian to continue speaking.

Aron replied coldly, "Mr. Hansen, calling my wife so late will affect our rest."

There was a brief moment of silence.

"Where's Evie? Let her answer the phone!" Caspian lowered his voice, unable to hide his anger.

Aron sneered, "My wife doesn't want to have any contact with anyone from the Hansen family, so don't call her again."

"You're full of shit!"

Caspian cursed loudly.

He continued. "Who is your wife? I warn you to stay away from her. Otherwise..."

Aron didn't wait for Caspian to finish his warning.

He hung up the phone and then blocked him.

Evie sat there. The joy that had lasted all night on her face was gone.

Aron returned the phone to her.

"Blocked."

"Umm." Evie nodded.

"Don't you like me saying that?" Aron asked gently.

If it wasn't for Evie being here, he could have said even more bad words.

"No!" Evie hurriedly shook her head and sighed, "I'm just... angry that I will still be affected by this person."

"Four years is not four days or four hours. It's normal to be affected." Aron said softly, "Next, we still have a long time, which is enough to resolve all the influences of the past four years."

Evie looked at Aron.

Her nose suddenly became sore.

She and Athena had always understood each other.

But...

Besides Athena, Aron was the first person who would not suppress her emotions.

"Don't worry. I won't cheat on you." Evie assured earnestly.

Aron was amused.

"I am not worried at all."

If anyone wanted to seduce his wife, he would take action to solve that person before he got close to his wife.

She didn't need to resist.

Aron sent Evie downstairs.

"Tomorrow morning, I'll pick you up to choose a house." Aron said before getting off the car, "Just tell me when you wake up."

"I can just drive there by myself!" Evie was afraid Aron would be tired from going back and forth, so she immediately refused.

Aron looked helpless. "But I want to pick you up."

Evie's cheeks were a little hot. "I just think it's tough for you to pick up and drop off like this."

Aron thought for a while. "Honey, have you ever thought about why my car can be unimpeded in this community with such tight security?" Evie was at a loss. "Why?"

Aron tapped her forehead lightly. "Because I live here too."

Evie was frozen with shock.

"Which building?" Evie asked, looking around.

Aron replied, "It was over there by the lake."

Evie was speechless.

When she exited the car, her legs were still a little limp.

There were only three single buildings near the lake, and she heard that they were divided up by several investors before the market opened.

Evie arrived home.

Athena sat in the living room and watched the video.

"What do you mean by your sleepwalking appearance?" She looked up at Evie.

Evie floated to sit down opposite her. "Athena, I seem to have found a wealthy man!"

She paused.

She corrected seriously.

"Strictly speaking, I was found by a real rich man!"

Athena put down her phone.

She folded her arms and raised her eyebrows. "Tell me, how did the rich man date with you."

Evie looked at her.

She suddenly became shy.

"It's nothing... That day..."

Evie began to tell the story.

After listening carefully, Athena counted with her fingers.
