Chapter 373 A Day With Byron

"Is he really that kind? Do you really like him that much?" Rose tapped the tip of Mia's nose and asked with a jealous tone. "Of course," Mia murmured.

"He was so kind that he wanted to marry, Mommy and be my daddy," Mia whispered inside.

But she didn't say it out loud.

Mia knew Athena didn't like Byron.

Everyone in the room began to coddle Mia.

Aiden sat in the corner, playing games, as if others' voices had nothing to do with him.

Seeing this, Athena walked to his side and asked, "Do you want to go with her?"

"Where is she going?" Aiden asked.

"Amusement park."

Aiden lowered her eyes and replied coldly, "No."

Athena opened her mouth.

She wanted to say something, but in the end, she didn't.

She leaned against Aiden and watched as everyone coaxed Mia.

Mia's temper always came and disappeared quickly.

After a while, she was amused by Evie and burst out laughing.

Athena watched her smile.

Her heart was filled with mixed feelings.

Early in the following day...

Alice took Mia to the destination they had talked about.

"Hi!"

When Mia saw Byron, she immediately ran to him.

Alice looked at them and was amazed by them.

Although Mia had been coddled by everyone in the family, she wasn't naive. She was rarely friendly to a person she had known for such a short time.

In addition, Alice realized Mia looked somewhat similar to Byron. Then seemed like they were father and daughter!

Athena sat in the car, looking at her daughter, who was being lifted up by Byron.

The eyes were a little sore with welled up tears.

"Where are her parents?" Byron asked Alice.

Alice was stunned for a moment and quickly replied, "They're busy."

Displeasure flashed through Byron's eyes.

No wonder Mia was so clingy to him. It turned out that her parents didn't spend time with her enough.

Then for the whole day...

Byron took Mia to eat. They went to a nice restaurant Athena liked and went to the amusement park.

Though Mia was a little kid, she was fearless.

Byron and Mia played all the stuff that kids could play. Mia even took Byron to the "haunted house" that adults were afraid of. At dawn, they came out of the amusement park.

Mia began to dawdle.

"What do we have for dinner?" she asked.

What she meant was that instead of going back, Mia wanted to have dinner with Byron.

Byron knew that she was reluctant to part with him, so he patted her head and asked, "Do you want to see the kitten?"

Mia nodded quickly. "OK!"

"Then let's have dinner nearby!" Byron said with a smile.

Mia nodded eagerly.

Then he looked at Alice, whose legs were already weak from exhaustion. "Alice, Call mom and tell her about it, OK?"

"OK."

Alice nodded weakly and called Athena.

Athena followed them since they entered the amusement park.

Byron had a bad temper.

Mia could be stubborn sometimes.

Athena was worried that Mia would make Byron angry after spending so much time with her. If he had dared to be mean to Mia, Athena would have immediately asked Alice to take Mia home. And she would never let Byron see her again.

However, it was nothing like Athena had imagined.

Athena saw Byron was extremely patient with Mia.

He would squat down and tie her hair into an ugly ponytail when her hair was messy.

Then Alice would tie Mia's hair again as she couldn't stand it.

He would also block the sun for Mia under the sun.

He carefully fed Mia food and drinks, bought her dolls and toys of princesses or cartoons she liked, and even queued up to buy her a limited set of children's meals just for the little dolls inside. He would also carry Mia on his back when she couldn't walk anymore.

In short...

Byron behaved like a loving father all day long.
