Chapter 353 I Hate You

"Mia, do you remember what I said?"

Byron squatted before Mia and straightened her collar and hair.

"Yeah." Mia nodded. She didn't want to leave. "Will you visit the kitten every day?"

"Of course." Byron nodded, "I will also take pictures and videos of the cat and send them to your brother, so he can show you."

"That's very kind of you." Mia hugged Byron. "Thank you, Byron."

Byron patted her on the back lightly. "Good girl. Go. Your brother is waiting for you."

"Goodbye, Byron," Mia muttered.

She wished she could take Byron with her.

Alice picked up Mia

and let her head lay on her shoulder. Mia kept staring at Byron when she was brought to the car.

The car door was opened, and Mia was placed on the safety seat. Her vision was blocked.

She wanted to stick her head out to see Byron.

Suddenly, she heard her brother saying, "Mia."

Mia looked at her brother. "Aiden..."

"Do you have any idea how worried Alice and Jaxson were when they couldn't find you?" Aiden asked.

Mia blinked. "I left a note in the studio."

"What?" Alice was confused.

She didn't see any note.

She must have overlooked that key clue!

"You will never go to him in the future," Aiden ordered.

"No!" Mia retorted quickly, "He is my friend. You can't stop me from seeing him!"

"He's not your friend!" Aiden said with a stern face, "Mommy will be very upset if she knows you met him. Mia, do you want to upset our mommy?"

Mia was stunned.

She didn't know why her mommy would be upset to know that.

"Liar!" Mia felt so wronged that she was about to cry.

Aiden looked at Mia with a complicated expression.

Then, he turned toward the car window and saw Byron still standing there.

Aiden frowned.

"I asked Jaxson not to tell Mommy about what you did today. You can tell her what happened and apologize if you don't think she will be upset." Aiden withdrew his gaze and looked at her sister. "If Mommy does get upset, you and I will return to our uncle's and never come to Mailand again!"

Mia was a talkative girl.

Aiden, on the contrary, was always quiet.

No one would have thought

that one day Aiden would be so argumentative that Mia couldn't retort.

"I hate you!"

Mia covered her face with her hands and finally burst into tears.

Aiden used to fear his sister's tears.

But the situation was different today.

Alice tried hard to comfort Mia while Aiden remained silent, his eyebrows furrowed, and lips puckered.

Byron didn't know that Aiden had given Mia a hard time.

He just saw the nanny's car that stopped on the roadside for a moment leave slowly.

He sighed, took out his cell phone, and made a call.

"Let's continue the meeting in half an hour."

He hung up the phone.

Instead of going to the building where the meeting was held, Byron returned to the Imbe Group Building.

In the first-floor lobby,

the head of security stood in front of Byron in a cold sweat.

He had never been so close to his boss.

But it didn't feel good to stand in front of Byron.

"Several other people were also there, including the vice president of human resources and the security guard who threatened Mia."

"Mr. Crawford, I really didn't know you knew that girl. She had a cat. I was afraid that her cat would come out and hurt people in the company..."

The man that intimidated Mia stood beside the head of security and explained timidly.
