Chapter 340 Mr. Crawford

"Madam Campbell, is that Mr. Crawford also your guest tonight?"

Athena confirmed that the guest list was supposed to be free of Byron or anyone associated with him.

"Yes. My eldest grandson Jacob just signed a contract with Imbe Group. And Mr. Crawford happened to be free today, so he came here with Jacob." Janice replied. "All right..."

Athena nodded.

It was inevitable that she would meet him after all.

Janice didn't dare to trifle with Athena and got her a collectible velvet dress.

It was a simple style, but on Athena, it suited her complexion and figure.

"You'd look even better with a set of emerald jewelry. Too bad I didn't bring it today!" Janice was full of regret.

And she felt sorry for her grandson.

Such a creature with a prominent family, charming appearance, and remarkable ability was much better than the actress her grandson fancied.

"This is as good as it gets," Athena replied gently.

"You are perfect!" Janice was more satisfied with her sweet personality.

After changing her dress, Athena found an excuse and didn't rush downstairs.

Janice was the main person today and could not be away for long, so she came down first.

Athena sat in the changing room and glanced over the wrist Byron had just grabbed.

She still had a slight pain in her waist.

Damn it! Byron had held her too tight....

After sitting in the changing room for a while, Athena calmed down.

She wasn't the Athena she had used to be, and Byron no longer had the leverage to threaten her.

She didn't need to fear him.

As she opened the door, Athena turned around and was stunned.

Byron leaned against the wall, apparently waiting for her.

"Mr. Crawford, are you waiting for me?" Athena asked calmly.

Byron looked at her and swallowed. "Thea."

Athena frowned slightly.

"I'm sorry. Who's that?"

Byron also frowned.

"Are you pretending not to know me now?"

"Mr. Crawford, you are a legend in the business world. I have long heard my elders speak of you. How could I not know you?"

"Athena!"

Byron's heart seemed to be torn apart by thousands of claws.

He was painful and angry.

She was alive, but she made him think she was dead.

Five years!

She made him suffer for all these five years!

"Mr. Crawford, you've got the wrong person. I'm Chelsea." Athena stared at Byron without any fear in her eyes. Byron frowned.

The way she looked at him was too strange.

"You helped me tonight, and for that, you have my gratitude. But I am not the person you are looking for. Excuse me."

Athena nodded slightly and was about to go downstairs.

But as soon as she took a step, Byron grabbed her wrist. Then the door of the changing room was pushed open again, and Athena was pushed in by Byron.

Then he closed and locked the door.

Athena was speechless.

After five years, he became even more domineering.

"Do I look like some kind of idiot who will believe anything you say?"

Byron pressed Athena against the wall, and his eyes gradually turned red.

Athena frowned again.

"Mr. Crawford, is it hard to find out who I am since you're so powerful?" She stared at him and asked.

Byron gazed at Athena without blinking.

"Or, Mr. Crawford, you don't really care if I'm the person you're looking for. It's just a way for you to start a conversation." Athena laughed mockingly, "But don't you have a lover, Mr. Crawford? I just heard someone talking about Miss Bates at the banquet."
