Chapter 1925 Never Happen Again

After wiping away the blood, Byron took off his shirt and put an old shirt on in the cloakroom.

Because of his previous serious injury, he lost a lot of weight and hasn't regained it.

The shirt was a bit loose.

Byron threw the blood-stained shirt into the trash can without any hesitation, along with the things used to treat wounds.

Then, he mechanically opened the blood-replenishing potion he bought with the medicine.

After drinking a few, he curled up and lay on the sofa. After a while, he fell into a deep sleep due to dizziness from blood loss.

He was woken up by Martin's call.

Byron had a headache.

He answered the call.

"Mr. Crawford, are you still busy?" Martin asked.

Byron frowned and subconsciously checked the time. It was already four o'clock in the afternoon.

"Is my wife looking for me?" Byron sat up.

"Yeah. She asked when you would finish your work and go back for dinner," Martin replied.

"Ask the driver to wait at the gate of Lakin. I'll go there now."

"Yes!"

Martin didn't dare to ask where Byron went.

The driver said that Byron got out of the car near a park and said he would contact him after he was done.

Martin didn't know what Byron was doing.

Based on his voice, Byron was unhappy.

Martin was more afraid to ask.

Before Byron left, he took the garbage downstairs.

Arriving in the hall, coincidentally, he met the proprietress of the flower shop.

"Mr. Crawford, are you back? Every time I send flowers, your servant is there to receive them. I haven't seen you for a long time!" The boss looked at Byron. "Why have you lost so much weight? You have to take good care of yourself."

Byron looked at the person in front of him.

Some chaotic pictures occurred to his mind, but they were fleeting.

"Yeah," he responded.

"I have to send flowers to other guests. Goodbye!"

"Bye."

The boss left quickly.

Byron took a look at the flowers and then walked out the door.

The taxi he ordered had arrived, and it didn't take long to send him to the gate of Lakin.

Martin was already waiting there.

Byron went straight to the car, and there was also a spare suit in the car.

After the privacy curtain was raised, he changed out of his ill-fitting shirt.

After he put it on, the car was parked.

Byron got out of the car.

"Dad!"

Mia shouted happily and threw herself into his arms.

Byron smiled and picked up Mia, "Do you miss me?"

"Of course!" Mia nodded vigorously. "Mommy misses you, too! You worked very long today! Is there any difficulty?"

"There is no difficulty. Tomorrow I will go back to the company for a meeting. I want to be more prepared." Byron patted Mia's back gently and looked at Athena, who was standing not far away. "Honey, it was so confusing today that I forgot to send you a message."

"It's not new,"

Athena joked and waved to her daughter.

Mia got down from her father's arms.

Byron was a workaholic. When he was busy before, he didn't have time to eat, let alone reply to messages.

Athena was used to it.

However, such a common sentence was a blow to Byron.

"It won't happen again!" The panicked words blurted out.

Athena looked at him in astonishment.
