Chapter 40: Bringing Angel To Savages

I walked to my bedroom open the door closed and locked it and walked to the dresser. I removed everything from my jeans pockets and place the wallet, changes and so forth on the dresser.

I removed my cut folded it and lay it across the chair before grabbing shorts and walking into the bathroom.

I showered and dressed in shorts before turning the light off and walking into the bedroom. I sat down on the bed and set the alarm on my phone.

I drove to the hospital and went to the ICU and met Angel's mom and dad there. The doctor discharged Angel to me and her mom helped her dress.

Once we were outside I lifted Angel into the truck. As I started it and head out onto the road her dad followed behind on his bike.

"Did you eat breakfast Angel?"

"Yes, but when we get to your clubhouse, I would love a fresh cup of coffee with cream."

I smiled over at her. "Angel you can have whatever you want."

"Savage, I almost died. I wanted to die."

"I know that Angel. But, I could not let you die. I can't live without you."

"Are you alright with living at my clubhouse. And one day letting me claim you?"

"I wondered how much longer it would be before you decided you needed me."

"I always needed you Angel. When you almost died I knew I had to claim you."

We arrived at the clubhouse and Savage turned the truck off. He walked around and opened the door. He lifted me to the ground.

As we walked into the clubhouse his members stopped and looked at us. "Prospect get Angel a fresh cup of coffee with two creams."

We walked over and sat at the VIP table. Savage sat me in the chair next to him. I looked over to see Harley sitting on Savages other side.

Mom and dad sat down and drank a beer. "I will bring Spike to see you tomarrow. Right now you need to rest Angel."

"I would like to meet my baby brother. I do not want to see your VP."

"He thinks he is the president instead of dad."

"Not anymore he doesn't. He has been warned. Besides he met the "Black Angel."

"He is scared of what your mother can do."

"He better be more afraid of what I can do to him."

"No, he better be more afraid of me, Angel."

"You belong to me. I will not tolerate his disrespecting you. If he does it will be the last time he disrespects you."

I smiled at Savage. He has always been protective of me. I knew he loved me but he would never admit it. Not until I got shot.

I thanked the prospect when he brought my coffee to me. I took a drink of my coffee when Roxie walked over and handed me a pill.

"Why do I need this, Roxie?"

"It is to help you relax. You have been having musle spasms in your back."

"Thanks Roxie."

"No problem, Angel."

I watched her walk around the table and set next to Harley. I wonder when he will claim her. They have been dating for a few years now.

"The furniture is here. Why don't you take Angel to our bedroom Roxie. We will be there shortly."

We walked out of the bar and to Savage's bedroom. What the heck did he do in here, Roxie?"

"He knocked the wall down to the bedroom next door and is making a setting room. The furniture is for that room."

We sat on the bed watching as furniture was moved into the room and placed where I told them to put it.

Then everyone sat down and smiled. "She is right. Not only can you see the TV from where we are all setting but from the bed."

They sat and talked while Roxie grabbed one of Savages t-shirt and helped me to the bathroom. She sat on the toilet while I took a shower.

She helped me put on clean underwear and a pair of shorts she brought from her bedroom. Then she helped me put Savages t-shirt on.

We walked into the bedroom where she brushed and braided my hair before I climbed onto the bed.

I fell asleep listening to them all talking. I don't know when Savage came to bed. We sat talking and watching TV until around 1:00 am.

After they left our bedroom I locked the door and grabbed a pair of shorts and walked into the bathroom. After taking my shower and dressing I shut the light off and walked into the bedroom.

I looked at Angel sleeping in my bed. It looks right her sleeping there. No other woman has ever slept in my bed. It was always her place.

I turned the light off and climbed into bed. I got comfortable and pulled her into my arms. I held her close to me. She will always sleep right here next to me.

I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep. For the first time in a very long time I slept through the night.

We didn't wake up until Harley pounded on our bedroom door. I looked down and noticed that Angel was still sleeping.

I climbed out of the bed and walked over to the door. I opened it to Harley smiling from ear to ear.

"What the hell, Harley."

"Time to get up. Venom and Tara are here along with Beth. And you two have to eat."

"We will be down in about 15 minutes." I closed the door and walked over to the bed. "Angel, honey. We have to get up and go eat something. Besides your mom and dad are here along with Beth."

We got up and dressed before walking to the bar. We sat at the table and breakfast was brought to us along with coffee.

We ate while Beth, mom and dad did the talking. "You two sure slept through the night Roxie told us."

"I don't know why but I am still sleepy."

"Your body went through a lot Angel. But soon you will be fully healthy again."

"I sure hope so."

When we finished eating Savage carried our plates and things to the kitchen. He came back with a pot of coffee and poured more into my cup.

Mom stood up and walked over to me. She placed my little brother into my arms. "His name is Spike."

"You held him when you were on the ventelator. He was three days old than. He tried to wrap his little arm around your waist. That was when your heart stopped the second time."

"Besides the doctor and nurses. Me and your day you were the next one to hold him. Well, lay with him beside you anyway."

"You and Spike made that connection between the two of you. He will always love his big sister."
