Should Jared have the guts to come after him, Christopher had no qualms in showing his true colors and abilities.

"Don't worry about it, Julianna. I just retired from the army, and some bunch of street gangsters will not be a problem. If there's any danger, I promise I'll retreat to safety. You, however, must be extremely wary when you're outside," Christopher reminded.

"You don't have to worry about me. Since we're partners with Centurion Corporation, I don't imagine anyone having the courage to make an enemy of us, and to the contrary, many will seek to get into our good books," Julianna replied confidently.

"That's great to know!"

They put down the phone after a short conversation.

The next second, Christopher's phone rang again. When he saw that it was a call from the army, his expression darkened.
