Chapter 40 The Results Are Out

Jared tried his utmost to suppress his elation. He put on a poker face and urged, "Let's go."

There were already a lot of reporters inside the banquet hall. Instead of joining the cocktail party, they waited patiently in the hall for the biggest news ever.

As soon as Jared walked in, several reporters dashed to him and asked, "Mr. Cordrington, rumor has it Centurion Corporation is most likely going to collaborate with Cordrington Corporation. What are your thoughts on this?"

"Is that a joke? Are you here to entertain us?"

The steady bombardment of questions humiliated Frank deeply. He wished for nothing more than to strike Christopher dead. Ironically, Christopher remained indifferent and pushed the microphones away. Julianna sighed in her head. If I knew that Jared would play tricks on us, I wouldn't have persuaded Christopher to come to this event. It's too late now.

Afterward, he fixed his clothes and got up slowly, waiting patiently for Amanda to declare the final results.
