"You-" Fabio spat out with a flush of red tinging his greasy face. Harshly, he said, "I may not have a way to teach you a lesson, but Mr. Cordrington definitely does. You're done for. Just wait for it!" After that, Fabio stepped on the accelerator and sped off into the distance.

"I'm done for? Looks like Jared's comfortable life is coming to an end," Christopher said with a smirk.

Back in Cordrington Corporation, Jared and Harold were both beaming with joy. The former had just received a call from Daniel saying that he was put in charge of one of the Dragon Valley development projects and that it was one of the first to be revealed to the public.

Jared immediately rushed out and discreetly transferred another two million to Daniel before calling him. He picked up the call instantly and said, "Don't worry, Mr. Cordrington. I'll be in charge of the entire project from start to finish."

After settling everything, Jared couldn't help but feel extremely satisfied. He felt as if the entire world was in his hands. He laughed coldly and murmured, "Just wait and see how I get you to beg for my forgiveness, Christopher!"

Fabio had just gotten home when he began laughing like crazy. Fabian looked at him with a confused frown and asked, "What's up? Did you hear about something from Mr. Cordrington?"

Fabio immediately chuckled. "Well, not about Mr. Cordrington. I just bumped into Christopher, and guess what I saw him holding? A proposal! It's a joke that he actually wants to collaborate with Centurion Corporation! As if they would even give him the time of day!"

"He really needs to learn his place," Fabian scoffed.

Suddenly, he thought about Christopher playing another trick on him, especially when he knew that secretary from the city. He definitely had to have his guards up.

After hesitating for a second, he said, "Frank owns some land. Give Mr. Cordrington a call. I'll go and look into Christopher's so-called company."

"I don't think there's a need for that, Dad," Fabio said in confusion.

"We can't let your Uncle Frank take any chances," Fabian said with a cold gleam in his eyes.

After that, Fabian immediately got some people from the company to look into Frank's company while Fabio called Jared. Soon enough, he picked up and Fabio instantly said respectfully, "Hello, Mr. Cordrington. I just bumped into Christopher and I saw him holding onto a proposal. There's a high chance that he's looking to collaborate with Centurion Corporation. My dad asked me to let you know as he's a bit worried."
