My Fair Stunner novel (Faye and Colin)
Chapter 626 Sense of Security

Chapter 626 Sense of Security

Faye had never seen Gunner since the last time.

If it weren't for Tanner, she would probably forget about this person.

Noticing that Faye ignored him, Gunner took the initiative to step into the room. He walked up to Colin and extended his hand. "I'm Gunner."

Colin leaned against the seat and didn't give him a handshake. "I heard about you."

Even so, Gunner didn't get annoyed. He turned and waved to the woman standing near the door.

The woman stepped forward in small steps on high heels.

Gunner put his arm around her shoulders intimately and blinked at Faye. "Faye, she is my girlfriend working for your Farrell Media. Please keep an eye on her."

Hearing this, the woman greeted Faye shyly, "Ms. Nash."

Faye said, "Mr. Warren, are you going to push her into trouble?"

The woman changed countenance a little and turned to look at Gunner.

Gunner grinned cheekily. "What do you mean?"

Faye said calmly, "You probably forget you just set a stumbling block to my friend and almost caused him to retreat some time ago."

Gunner pondered. "Really?"

Faye nodded in a cold manner. "Yes."

The woman was not a fool. She was in a dilemma in Gunner's arm.

The atmosphere in the room froze for a while. Gunner chuckled and said, "I'm entrusted by someone."

Faye sneered, "Are you?"

Gunner stared at Faye with a smile, without answering him.

After a while, Gunner looked at the woman in his arm and said, "Let's go to have lunch."

Gunner was afraid and didn't dare to agree or refuse.

The woman hugged by him reluctantly walked out of the door.

As soon as they went out, the woman pushed away Gunner and said with red eyes, "Mr. Warren, if you don't like me, just say it directly, why sent me into trouble." Gunner leaned against the wall and laughed. "Are you angry?"

The woman said, "If you don't want to support me...'

She looked at Gunner's smiling face, thinking that he was good-tempered, so she wanted to be coquettish. Yet Gunner ceased to smile when she didn't finish her words. There was a scar on the eyebrow peak of his left eye, which couldn't be seen at ordinary times, but it was clearly visible when he kept a poker face.

It was quite scary.

The woman didn't dare to continue.

Gunner cast a glance at her, saying frostily, "Go on."

The woman took her bag tightly and did not dare to reply.

It was the lunch time, and many people came and went around here.

The woman didn't dare to look at Gunner, so she had to stare at the ground. Other's gaze made her feel very embarrassed.

After more than a minute, Gunner took a cigarette case from his pocket, saying coldly, "The money will be transferred to your account later."

The woman took a deep breath, "Thank... thank you."

Gunner bit a cigarette and stepped away.

The woman timidly looked at his back and turned around in a hurry.

After several seconds, Gunner took off the cigarette and threw it into the trash can on his side. He took out his phone from pocket and sent a message to Faye: [For Tanner, I am really entrusted by someone.] When Faye was having the meal, she got his message.

The phone was placed on her left side, and Colin glanced at it naturally.

Seeing the information, Colin smiled. "It's from Gunner."

Faye looked at the screen and drooped her eyes. "He is the same type of person as Maxwell."

Hearing her words, Colin had a beam of satisfaction.

He didn't reply. Faye paused and turned to look at him, meeting his meaningful gaze.

Before she saying something, Colin suddenly approached and kissed her lips, saying in a low voice, "Honey, you really bring me a sense of security."
